• It was made in 1941. • Here worked many men,
women and children too. • People who died here
were buried in collective graves.
• Here died from1,5 to 2 milions of Jews and lots of Polish people.
Christmas Tree
• This tradition has been popular in Europe since XIX century.
• It came to our country from Germany.
• We decorate it for Christmas with lights, balls, chains, bells, apples and stars.
• It is one of the most popular and the most beautiful traditions.
Castle in Malbork
• It is Teutonic, gotic castle (Teutons were German friars).
• There are three parts of this castle: down, medium and high.
• Malbork was a capital city of Teutonic country.
• Malbork became a Polish castle after thirteen years’ war.
Volkswagen Poznań
• There is Volkswagen factory in Poznań.
• It was built in 1992.• This factory is one of the most
important source of income in Poznań.
• Volkswagen is from Germany.• It is one of the best, most
famous and the most popular car make in Europe.
• Volkswagen’s symbol and cars like Golf, Polo, Passat or „Beetle” are known by lots of people in all the world.
Opel Gliwice
• Opel’s factory was built in October 1998.
• It is one of the most modern opel’s factory in the world.
• Cars which are produced in Gliwice are: Astra Classic, Agila, Astra II, Zafira II.
• Opel is a very popular German car make in Europe.
Cement factory in Nowiny
• Nowiny is a village which is close to Kielce.
• This factory has been a part of big, German company – Dyckerhoff since 1996 year.
• It is very important for poeple who live close to this factory – it is place where they work and it is the source of commune’s money (that is why Nowiny is one of the richest commune in Poland)
• Sadly cement plants are very bad for the environment.
