Written by: Cason Ragsdale Every year the first graders at Margaret Elementary do a research project on a famous person. This year the first graders teamed up with the third graders at our school. The third graders helped with the research and worked with the first graders on completing their project. On Thursday, February 19, the first graders presented their research with a wax museum. The students were dressed up as their famous person. They were dressed up as either a famous athlete, political figure, inventor, famous woman or someone from pop culture. They started the night off by singing “Big, Big Dreams.” The students pretended to be wax statues and once the button on their hand was pushed, they came to life. The students recited facts about their famous person’s life.
