Accurately aligning shafts can prevent many machinery breakdowns and reduce unplanned downtime that results in loss of production. Machines needs to be aligned in both horizontal and vertical plane. For dry applications like yours, bearing inserts can be an effective weapon against dry particle contamination. And some inserts, such as NTN’s Ultra-Class, are lubed to help eliminate grease purge and fluid wear. The standard sizing makes them usable for just about any non relubricatable housing unit.
