The Titan Support System from
• The world’s leading falsework system
• Fast and versatile
• Lightweight, yet exceptionally strong
The Titan support system is recognised as theleading product in its field by many professionalsin the construction and civil engineeringindustries.
Comprising two main components; legs andframes, together with a comprehensive range ofaccessories, the Titan support system offers oneof the quickest, most effective and versatilemeans of providing rapid support and accesssolutions in an enormous variety of situations.
The system can be used in both ‘flying table’ anderect and dismantle applications and is ideal formulti-storey structures, water reservoirs and soffitsituations where mobility and ease of handlingare required.
With the majority of components beingmanufactured from high grade aluminium topatented designs, the Titan support systempossesses an exceptionally high strength toweight ratio which facilitates rapid erection, whilstits excellent corrosion resistance and robust buildquality assure long term durability.
The Titan support system is designed to reducelabour costs, increase site efficiency, improvesafety and meet the demands of today’sconstruction and civil engineering techniques.

3 levels of ledger frames in height
The allowable leg load isdetermined by the floor to soffitheight, the number of ledgerframes in height or jackextension
Notes:
Ledger frames to be fixed in theoptimum position.
On higher propping heights anadditional level of frames maybe required for ease of erectionand stability.
Maximum distance between ledgerframes not to exceed 2.0 m.
Minimum height to base ratio =3:1
It is assumed that formwork isrestrained from horizontalmovement at the formworklevel.

Titan Erection Sequence
1. Connect ledger frame horizontallybetween 2 legs. Predeterminedledger frame position measuredfrom headplate.
2. Connect ledger frame verticallyto leg.
3. Repeat 2 to form three sides tobay.
4. Repeat 1 to form 4th side ofbay and then lift both sides ofbay into position
6. Now add additional frames andlegs to form Titan supportstructure.
7. Place intermediate transoms andscaffold boards in position forfixing of Titan aluminium beams.
9. Position secondary beams andfix with a Titan clamp at eachintersection with a primary beam.Structure is now ready for fixingof plywood.
5. Connect both sides to form a 4leg tower.
8. Fix primary beam to headplateby means of 2 no. Titanclamps.
