Tech Talent IncubatorYoung tech talent have the opportunity to use the latest technology to deliver results to our customers and at the same time earn certification in current and emerging technologies. Targeted fields of study include graduates in Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology.

Young EngineersOur intake is between 6 to 12 engineering graduates annually, from various Engineering streams including Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic and Civil Engineering. This structured programme offers formal courses and Blue Prism training and accreditation examinations.

Digital & Data AcademyThrough the Old Mutual Foundation, we have partnered with Explore Data Science Academy to train in Johannesburg and Cape Town in Data Analytics. The programme includes classroom-based learning at Explore’s campus followed by on-the-job learning in the Digital and Data business in Old Mutual. The minimum requirements for entry to the programme are Matric with maths and a household income of less than R10 000 per month. The application and selection process is managed by Explore Data Science Academy.

Investment Analyst ProgrammeThis 12-month programme from Old Mutual Investment Group consists of an induction, functional training and three assignments specific to the selected investment boutique area. This on-the-job training provides valuable skills practice for budding investment analysts. Minimum entry requirements include Investments, Finance and Accounting degrees.

The Old Mutual Education Trust Scholarship Programme provides you with an opportunity to study for a first-time undergraduate Degree/BTech/Diploma at an accredited Higher Education Institution in South Africa.

The Trust is directed at empowering the members and dependents of a group of 10 partnering trade unions that are business partners of Old Mutual.

Our Scholarship Programme offers the following• Registration and tuition fees

• Accommodation and meals

• Transport allowances

Old Mutual employees and their dependents qualify if they are a: • Member or employee of one of our

The Imfundo Trust, an Old Mutual Investment Group (OMIG) scholarship initiative was founded to help address the lack of black investment professionals within the country and to increase the number of qualified professionals in the asset management industry.

The OMIG Imfundo Trust Scholarship will provide funding for studies undertaken within the investments, infrastructure and renewable energy industries, particularly in the following fields (degree/diploma):

• Commerce

• Business

• Finance

• Management Sciences/ Management Studies

• Mathematical Sciences

• Computer Science

• Data Processing

• Law

• Agricultural Studies

• Engineering

• Engineering Technology

MORE ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – COVERAGE VALUEThe following expenses will be covered by the scholarship award: registration fees, tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, study materials, meals, accommodation and a small stipend for additional expenses.

Scholarships are renewable annually based on satisfactory academic performance. There is no service contract obligation upon graduation.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSApplicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
