The Thirteen Colonies

Founding Fathers
James Madison- accomplished being the fourth president.
John Adams- accomplished being the second president in the United States.
Benjamin Franklin- accomplished finding electricity.
Thomas Jefferson- accomplished being the third president.
Socioeconomic New England Southern Colonies
New England is known for fishing and whaling, trapping, ship building and logging.
The Southern Colonies are almost entirely based on farming.
Middle
ColoniesThe middle colonies are known for large agricultural and farms grew numerous kinds of crops, logging and paper making.
Jobs These are some of the jobs during colonial
times.
Blacksmith- Crafters of hardware for homes and also they make tools.
Brick maker- They molded and dried bricks for construction.
Weaver- Weavers grow imported cloth.
3 Regions of the 13 Colonies
New England- Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Middle Colonies- New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
Southern Colonies- Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina and Georgia.
Colonial Tools
Some of the tools in the Colonial times were a saw, gimlets and chisels.
Costume/ Cloths
Woman: Lace apron; stomacher; hat.
Men: Coat; stockings; breeches
Important Foods
Some of the most important foods in the colonial times were: shepherds pie, scallops of salmon and tidewater chili.
