Comprehensive Reading Intervention at the Secondary Level (Grades 5–12)Learn to teach The Third Quest curriculum with fidelity and high success. This comprehensive (vs. targeted) intervention program provides instruction in vocabulary, word study, fluency, content knowledge (the scientific method and ancient history), comprehension, and study skills. VIRTUAL TRAINING

Marilyn will meet with participants live via three web meetings to simulate live and in-person training as much as possible. Sessions will not be recorded so participants can feel comfortable working interactively. Participants will:

• Learn how to teach the program• Get ready for teaching in whatever setting is needed: virtual

(synchronous) or classroom• View videos• Generate questions and discuss implementation issues• Move into breakout groups to practice delivering instruction• Work diagnostically by listening to students
