HYMEHC – alive

• The first MH-compressor was revealed during opening of the HyNor Lillestrøm Innovation Zone on May 28, 2013

– HYMEHC-10: 10 Nm3/h, 10 200 bar, 2-stage

• At HyNor Lillestrøm, the complete infrastructure for operating, testing and demonstration of the compressor in a real-world setting is in place

– Site: The HyNor Lillestrøm Hydrogen Refuelling station

• This unique achievement has only been possible thanks to the strong MH/hydrogen competence at Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) and Prototech AS, and the good faith and patience Norsk Innovasjonskapital III AS (our prime investor)

HYPROCOM

• Partners: HyGear, Air Products,

IFE and HYSTORSYS

• Goal – Develop an integrated natural gas based hydrogen production and

compression system using steam methane reforming and metal hydride thermal sorption compression

– Capacity: 5 Nm3/h, 250 bar

– Market and sell HYMEHC-5 and HYMECH-10 in co-operation with and through the channels of HyGear and Air Products

• Status – Prototype currently being operated at NEL, Notodden
