The Temple News is Temple University’s editorially independent, student-run newspaper. The Temple News offers advertisers access to the specific readership of a university newspaper with a professional product. The paper is published every Tuesday during the fall and spring semesters and daily on our award-winning website, temple-news.com. We are serving the students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and surrounding community of the 27th- largest public university in the country ― and we’re serving them well.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Temple News will send out a newsletter two times a week to an ever-growing population of students, staff, alumni and Philadelphia residents. Currently, the newsletter has 1,034 subscribers. Sponsors can have the opportunity to hold exclusive sponsorship and write a message of 280 characters or less directly to readers, delivered to their inboxes each week.

The two newsletters will be sent on Tuesdays and Fridays each week. The Tuesday edition will feature a long list of must-reads from Tuesday’s print edition. The Friday edition will be shorter, with several must-reads from our online-only stories that week and previews for events in the

In order to ensure your advertisement displays as beautifully as possible, here are some tips for packaging and sending your art to The Temple News.

PRINT ADVERTISEMENTS • All art should be sized accordingly. Please reference page 7 to check that your art is sized correctly.

• All art should be in at least 300 dpi.• If you have purchased a color ad, all art should be in CMYK format

to ensure color matching during the printing process.

WEB ADVERTISEMENTS

• All art should be in at least 72 dpi.• All art should be in RGB format to ensure color matching online.

• All advertisers are subject to approval by The Temple News. We reserve the right to refuse advertisements.

• The deadline to reserve advertising space in The Temple News is at least one week prior to publication.

• Online advertisements can be placed as requested.• Any changes to advertorial content must be made at least one week

prior to the run date.• Payment should be prepaid by check or credit card — Visa, Discover,

American Express or MasterCard only.• Please list the date of the ad and insertion order number on the
