at The Tannery, Linden Homes' popular
development in the historic Cornish village
of Grampound. Until its closure in 2000, the
Manor Tannery produced high grade heavy
leather using traditional techniques.
It was the last operating tanyard in the

How to find The Tannery
A390 heading East (from Truro)
Take the A390 out of Truro towards
St. Austell. Continue on this road through
Tresillian and up the dual carriageway to the
roundabout at Probus. Take the second exit
signposted to St. Austell (A390). Enter the
village of Grampound after approximately
2 miles. Continue through the village past
the village shop on the left. Take the
next right turning into Bosillion Lane
and The Tannery can be found after
approximately 100 yards on the right.
A390 heading West (from St. Austell)
Take the A390 out of St. Austell towards
Truro. Stay on the A390 through the village
of Hewas Water. As you enter the village of
Grampound, take the first turning on the left
into Bosillion Lane. The Tannery can be found
after approximately 100 yards on the right.
