Selection Process: PageFlip-Flap

While looking under the external links, we found Web 2.0 Cool Tools for Schools and clicked on the Writing Tools.

There is a wide selection to choose from. We looked at other websites including PageFlip-Flap. Both of us thought this was a great idea to use with our general and special education students.

Trial and Error

First, we tried to use PageFlip-Flap. We each made our screencasts showing how to access this website.

When we tried to actually upload student documents, we were unable to do this successfully. It would pop up with an error message.

Selection Process: FlipSnack

After several failed attempts to upload our student documents to PageFlip-Flap, we began our search for another flipbook website. We were discussing our inability to get PageFlip-Flap to work, when Hayley suggested to use FlipSnack. Together, we looked at the website and found it very easy to use and navigate, even for novice technology users.
