THE SUREFIRE NO-HASSLE GUARANTEELamps will burn out, batteries will be used up, and switches may eventually wear out. Everything else is covered by our no-hassle guarantees:
ONE IS NONE, TWO IS ONE—BUT THREE IS KEY.Anytime you’re out of your vehicle, gear-wise, you’re on your own.It may be high noon, but it’s darker than midnight inside thatwarehouse you’re about to enter. Got your light with you, or is itcharging back in your cruiser? What if you have your light, but itgoes out? Got a back up, or an extra set of batteries? Can you useyour light effectively with your pistol drawn? Does your weaponhave an integrated light you can count on too? We pose these“what if” questions to ourselves every day.
As you know, unpredictable things happen in high-stress situations, and it just makes sense to be ready for whatever comes your way.Given the importance of light in identifying and isolating threats, and how it relates to your overall effectiveness in the field, thesolution is to always carry three lights: a primary, a backup, and aweapon-mounted light. This is the core of the SureFire LawEnforcement Tactical Trinity™—the most complete illuminationsystem ever developed to ensure your safety out in the field.
WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE... WHAT YOU GOT IS WHAT YOU GOT.

M THE RIGHT LIGHT IS CRITICALDo you carry around a flashlight or an illumination tool? Do yourlights give you a flawless, pure beam of light, or dark spots andrings? Are your lights small enough to carry with you at all timesyet powerful enough to temporarily disorient an adversary? Arethey reliable in all situations? Do they fit with your department’stactical requirements? These are questions we ask ourselvesevery day. From routine administrative tasks to high-risk situa-tions, your lights are essential tools—perhaps as important asyour pistol. Do you carry the best lights? Do you carry a SureFireillumination tool?
CONTROL THE DARKNESSUsing the best illumination tools is vital to your success, but it’s important to master your lights as well. Using proper low-light tactics (like those taught at the SureFire Institute®*) allows you tomove through the darkness with minimal detection and control youradversary’s ability to see you—and anything else for that matter. The brilliant, pure beam of a SureFire light not only lights up thedark, but it’s also a valuable force option, causing confusion andoften reducing the aggressiveness of a subject. Blinding lightgives you a tactical advantage by identifying your opponent whiledenying him the ability to see.
And when the use of deadly force is necessary—departmental policies require positive threat identification as well as threatisolation. Light is absolutely crucial in these situations when youmust positively identify potential threats and place accurate shotsin low-light situations. You don’t have the luxury of time when decisions are made in split seconds. Which lights do you want tocount on?
SureFire Institute is a registered service mark of SureFire®, LLC. C&W Murphy and Associates licenses the SureFire Institute name and exclusively uses SureFireproducts, but is not a subsidiary or affiliated in any manner with SureFire, LLC.

PRIMARY LIGHT One is none. You need to start with one powerful light that’s small enough to always carry with you and easy to access no matter where you are, or what you’re doing. You should have your lightholstered, just like your handgun, with extra batteries right there in the holster—ready when you needthem. It should provide tactical-level light (over 50 lumens for an LED) to enable you to disorient or temporarily blind the night-adapted vision of an aggressor.
BACKUP LIGHTTwo is one. What do you do if your primary light fails or is lost? You need a backup light. It must becompact, since room on your duty belt (or under your suit jacket) is limited, but it has to be brightenough to blind or disorient, or what good is it? It should also use the same batteries as your primarylight so spares are always handy. We need to keep it simple because you have much bigger things onyour plate. A backup light should be a long-running, tactical-level light that is always around as wellas being as tough as your primary light, even if it’s a bit smaller. And it’s perfect for off-duty use too, because you’re always a cop, and failure is not an option.
WEAPONLIGHTThree is KEY. You need a weapon-mounted light because, when your weapon is drawn, we all knowwhat’s on the line. A SureFire WeaponLight will help you identify the threat—or see that there is nothreat at all. You need a powerful, lightweight, and shockproof WeaponLight that mounts easily toyour pistol (shotgun or rifle, we’ve got you covered there too) and is always ready to go. Lights withlasers are available too, but on that front, you make the call. Handheld lights are indispensable, butany gunfighter will tell you, sometimes it’s best to keep both hands on your gun.
You need serious light to do your job—we all know the stakes couldn’t be higher. At SureFire webelieve that having three illumination tools at your side is absolutely vital to your safety. That’swhat we’ve learned from being alongside law enforcement for three decades now. That’s whywe developed the SureFire Tactical Trinity for Law Enforcement.
SureFire’s compact, powerful, and virtually indestructible lights are perfectly designed forcops. Our new G3™ LED Holster Kit, E1B Backup,™ and X300® WeaponLight provide you with a tactically sound lighting solution designed to give you the best illumination tools you need, right now, when split seconds count.
We call it the Tactical Trinity—and we know it will help you succeed in the field.

04
YOUR WORK IS NOT AS SIMPLE AS 1-2-3 BUT THE SUREFIRE TACTICAL TRINITY SYSTEM REALLY IS.
A powerful tactical-level light* that’s long-running,virtually indestructible, and sits in a holster so it’salways available when needed. Must be suited to be paired with a pistol.
A powerful tactical-level light*, just like your primary light, butmore compact so it can be easily placed in a pocket or on a dutybelt but accessed quickly when needed. A two-stage light canprovide officers with general-use light with extended runtime.

Weapon-mounted tactical-level lights* are available forpistols, shotguns, and rifles. When weapons are drawnin low-light, there is nothing more vital than seeingwhat’s in front of you in these high-stakes situations.
* A tactical-level LED flashlight should emit at least 50 lumens of light because that’s typically enough light to temporarily disorient or blind the night-adapted vision of an opponent.

G3™ LED HOLSTER KITIn high-stress situations, where split seconds count, getting your light quickly pairedwith your pistol can mean the difference between life and death. We understand this. That’s why the G3 LED Holster Kit was designed to fit in with law enforcement trainingto allow you to deploy your primary light quickly and safely—both with and without ahandgun. This holster and light combination was primarily designed to be oriented near
your midsection where you are trained to position your weak-hand when drawing your pistol. Seediagrams below for various methods that work with this tactical holster.
The holster itself is lightweight yet rugged and created for daily use. It securely fastens onto yourduty belt and was designed to accommodate both right and left-handed shooters. The holster alsosecurely holds the G3 LED bezel-down, so it’s tactically correct and always ready to be drawn anddeployed in one continuous motion. The holster features an integrated battery compartment too;it securely holds three extra 123A lithium batteries to provide you with over 18 hours of light in thefield—far greater runtime than a typical rechargeable flashlight.
Maybe the most revolutionary aspect of the new G3 LED Holster Kit is that the holster can beangled to perfectly mesh with your drawing style and maximize your speed on the draw. And, ofcourse, the G3 LED Holster Kit comes standard with the SureFire G3 LED light, which providestactical-level light for 5.8 hours, with useful light for a total of 9.4 hours. An aluminum bezel fitsperfectly into the holster, while the Nitrolon® body resists corrosion and helps you maintain a firmgrip in all conditions. And the patented SureFire tailcap switch ensures that you'll have light whenand where you need it. Press for momentary-on and twist for constant-on—it’s always easy tofind the switch, even in high-stress situations. This tactical holster also accommodates other 1.25" bezel SureFire lights listed on the next page.

2 BACKUP LIGHT
BACKUP™DUAL-OUTPUT EXTENDED-RUNTIME LED FLASHLIGHT
The compact and powerful E1B Backup was designed as an ideal backup light that can easily becarried every day by undercover officers and beat cops alike—and it’s four-times brighter than atypical D-cell flashlight. With a length of only four inches and a weight of under 3 ounces, theBackup doesn’t take up much space in a pocket. Its dual-output LED delivers two useful lightlevels, so it might become more than just a backup light to you. It starts with 80 lumens of blindinglight on high and follows (with another click off and on) with 5 lumens of light at its low setting—still plenty of light to check an ID or write a citation. The efficient Backup delivers useful light levelsfor an impressive 37 hours on one 123A lithium battery. Its hard-anodized aluminum body featuresmelted styling, which goes easy on clothing, and its sturdy, two-way pocket clip allows the light tobe carried bezel up or down. Its tailcap switch can be pressed for momentary-on and clicked forconstant-on—but it always leads with the high-output setting so tactical-level light is just a clickaway in high-stress situations. It’s a must-have for any police officer.

That’s why this Law Enforcement Systems Guide expands on the coretools we’ve earlier outlined. Are you tactical? Then you may need sound suppression for close-quarter combat.Suppressors can help protect your hearing without impeding accuracy or adding much weight to your long gun.Or how about a dedicated forend with a piercing light always onboard your shotgun? Edged weapons, infraredlights, and a pen that does more than write, are just a few things that can give you the edge you need out onthe streets.
You need to do what works for the unique aspects of your job—because there might not be a second chance toget it right. The SureFire Tactical Trinity is the starting point, a core set of principles, but at SureFire we canmeet your needs no matter what they are. Read on to see what else you can add to your arsenal.

SureFire 123A lithium batteries have a 10-year shelf life and a higherpower density and voltage than alkaline batteries. They are lighterweight and offer better cold-weather performance too. They are alsoengineered with built-in fault and heat protection for added safety.
WARNING:Lithium batteries can explode or cause burns if disassembled, shorted, recharged, exposed to water, fire, or high temperatures. Do not place loose batteries in a pocket, purse, or other container containing metal objects. Do not mix with used or otherbattery types, or store with hazardous or combustible materials. Store in cool, dry, ventilated area. Follow applicable laws and regulations for transport and disposal.
INFERIOR IMPORTED BATTERY and COUNTERFEIT BATTERY WARNING:There have been several incidences reported of counterfeit and/or low-quality batteries spontaneously combusting or venting, which have resulted in damage to theflashlight and in some cases property damage or personal injury. For this reason SureFirestrongly recommends that you use only SureFire-brand lithium batteries (or batteriesmanufactured by well-known manufacturers such as Panasonic or Duracell) to guaranteesafe performance. SureFire’s lithium batteries are manufactured to strict quality controlstandards specifically for use in high-performance, high-drain devices, and contain
built-in fault/heat protection. The use of lesser-known or counterfeit brands coulddamage your SureFire product and may constitute a safety hazard. To ensure that youget authentic, competitively priced SureFire batteries, purchase them only fromsurefire.com or an authorized SureFire reseller. Use of non-SureFire-brand batteriesmay void your warranty. Customers are specifically cautioned not to purchase batteriesfrom online auction websites, as these are known sources of counterfeit batteries.
