I. THE SYMBOL OF A SEAL

• In Biblical times a seal was used as a manner of a signature to denote ownership & responsibility

II. THE SYMBOL OF A CLOUD, RAIN AND DEW

• All these symbols bring refreshing life to parched ground.

III. THE SYMBOL OF WINE

• This symbol of wine has its limitations when referring to the Holy Spirit.

IV. THE SYMBOL OF A DOVE

• Matthew 3:16• A “dove” is known for its gentleness,

tenderness, grace, innocence, mildness, peacefulness, patience and faithfulness.

• The “dove” is ceremonially clean.• Genesis 1:2• The Holy Spirit works in our lives by gently

leading and persuading us into His will.• Matthew 10:16

V. THE SYMBOL OF OIL

• Hebrews 1:9b• Oil in biblical times used for fuel for lamps, for

healing & setting apart people for their offices of ministry.
