THE SYLLABUS of
We all aware that, to perform profession, graduating from a dental or medical school and enriching knowledge acquired throughout education life by 30-35 years of experience is not valid any longer.
As Information changes and progresses so fast in this new era, dentists need continuing post-graduate education to update their knowledge, to access new information or to take the advantage of expert experience, just as how they have to constantly renew equipment in their practice and add new things.
This necessity is exactly what VESTA was emerged from. In order to provide doctors
with respective needed knowledge from reliable sources and via safe channels, VESTA, which is implemented by Vestiyer Publishing Group, offers variety of trainings on dental and paradental fields to the attention of dentists and team members.
VESTA which is undisputed leader in its field in Turkey has determined a one-sentence mission: For a better dentistry and medicine, continuing postgraduate education.

2 Orthodontics Certification Program
In 2005, we decided to create a unit which operates postgraduate dental education focused activities, within Vestiyer Publishing Group which is in the service of dentistry for quarter of a century.
For this new unit, we decided to use the name” VESTA” which is combination of “VEST” from Vestiyer and “A“ from Academy.
VESTA held the first training in 2006. As, VESTA was backed by Vestiyer Publishing Group’s quarter of a century experience, had grown in a very short time and began to perform worldwide trainings which drew great interest of dentists.
So far, for dentists and their assistants hundreds of training seminars and conferences were held by VESTA. Thousands of participants from Turkey and all over the world preferred VESTA to brush up, update and strengthen their education.
VESTA that holds trainings in many centers like Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Mersin in Turkey, became a pioneer of the international training organizations exclusively for dentists. In many cities such as London, Vienna, Los Angeles, Zurich, Las Vegas, Lefkoşa dozens of trainings were held.

What You Will LearnIn module 1, you will learn the principles of growth and development related to orthodontics and develop skills in cephalometry and patient assessment as well as acquire knowledge of aetiology in orthodontics.
In module 2, you will focus on treatment planning of a range of malocclusions and learn the importance of record taking in orthodontics along with developing skills in bonding procedures and treatment protocols for a Class I case.
In module 3, in depth knowledge on a range of treatment mechanics and clinical scenarios will be covered such as bracket prescriptions, inter-proximal reduction, anchorage and deep bites followed by the planning of the retention phase of orthodontics.
After completing this course, you can start with treating simple cases. Class I cases, some simple over bite and over jets. Also you will have some thoughts about Class II but you need to have some experience with simple cases first.

Dr. Parmjit SinghAfter qualifying as a dentist from the University of Newcastle in 2001, Parmjit specialised in orthodontics. He is trained to consultant level, the highest level for a UK orthodontist and has worked at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London and Ipswich Hospital as a locum consultant. He is a senior clinical lecturer in orthodontics at BPP University where he is programme lead for the Master’s in Clinical Dentistry for Orthodontics. He is also the orthodontic lead for the Diploma in Orthodontics that is delivered at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in Accra, Ghana in collaboration with the City of London Dental School.Parmjit is a member of the British Orthodontic Society. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeon’s Licence in Dental Surgery (LDS), the Royal College of Surgeon’s Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy and also examines for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses where he sits on the orthodontic committee. In addition to these roles, he is a clinical adviser at the General Dental Council as an expert witness. He spends his time between London and Spain and enjoy cycling and DIY in his spare time. He is learning to speak Spanish and dreams of one day having a pilot’s license!

Prof. Dr. Simon AshVisiting Professor Simon Ash works at the forefront of his profession. He is a Consultant and Specialist Orthodontist with over 30 years clinical experience, with a special interest in sleep related breathing disorders, TMJD, and bruxism. He currently works in Harley Street London and two private hospitals in London as part of a multi-disciplinary team managing snoring and sleep apnoea, and is Visiting Professor of Orthodontics at the BPP University.
Visiting Professor Ash is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and an accredited Consultant and Fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Furthermore, for many years Visiting Professor Ash served as the Regional Dental and Speciality Orthodontic adviser (North Thames) to the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Between 1988 - 2013 he has orthodontic consultant, lead clinician, head of department, clinical director Whipps Cross Hospital (Barts Health). He was Managing Director & Clinical Director of Somnowell Ltd. in 2010. He is the Visiting Professor of Orthodontics BPP University London till 2014.
