They use miniature horses in therapy sessions for children with physical and mental needs and seniors suffering from memory loss. There is an interaction between the person and the horse. After our meeting, many of us got to meet the two miniature horses, Mercy and Goodness, out on the patio. . Visiting Rotarian John Emley/Petoskey,Mi Guests of Rotarians A. Bradley/A. Dickmann Attendance 53 members, 3 guests Happy Bucks ($78) Many comments had to do with this year’s successful Rotary fest dance. Glynn Hatley was happy his term on the SC Board was finished. Supt. Bill Chapman was proud of the graduating class at Jarrell ISD. Rotarians in the News Congratulations to Art and Lyn Tragesser on their 59 th wedding anniversary. This was the last meeting for John Emley, as he prepares to return to his summer home in northern Michigan. Many members spoke about the accomplishments and birthdays of children and grandchildren. President’s Night (June 30) The hours of this special event will be 68:30 at Cowan Creek. Dinner will be at 6:30. We will welcome Doug Lowe as incoming President and new officers and Board Members for 201516. The theme will be Luan, so dress Hawaiian The cost is $10 for prepay members and $20 for pay as you go members and guests. Future Programs June 17 Bios from Stan Brandenburg and Allison Dickmann June 23 Cheryl White Dinner Dance/Raffle Donna Taylor reported that a total of over $34,000 had been collected. She will have the final figures at an upcoming meeting. Adaire Wolf thanked everyone for their work on this worthy project. John Kaminky was thanked for his work in organizing the Raffle. Rotary Foundation John Chenoweth gave an update on the Foundation, explaining how the funds are used in the three main areas. He also talked about how our club benefits from being a major contributor to the Foundation.
