Focus Energy A/S helps to make district heating sustainable and environment friendly. We offer solar heating projects as turnkey solutions, based on wellknown technology and built around Focus Energy’s own management and design principles.

This ensures that the solutions are tailored to customers’ needs for flexibility and for the greatest possible output, which provides the most economical heat production. Many companies can build a solar heating system, but it requires experience and know-how to build a solar heating system that is optimised for co-production and is capable of contributing useful energy in cloudy weather and seasons when solar radiance is diminished. Therefore, a turnkey solution from Focus Energy is the right choice.

We would like to show the available options when establishing a solar heating system, including the various solar panel manufacturers’ products – a matter about which we are completely impartial.

As a total contractor, Focus Energy A/S assumes the following tasks:

• Design proposals and operating strategy (and comparison of solar panel manufacturers)

• Preparation of planning permission

• Planning and managing the project

• Operating descriptions and integration with other heat generating systems

• Heat piping in the construction area

• Building facilities

• Heat storage tank

• Technical installations

• Electric & SCADA systems

• Documentation

• Training and course in operating conditions

• Commissioning

• Follow up and service

Solar heat is a good investment for the environment and for sustainable operation. The payback time for a large solar heating system is short however the lifetime is 25-30 years!

The ”fuel” is free and CO2 neutral. In addition, the-re are no problems with noise or odour. The operational costs involve electricity for pumps, etc. Typical electricity consumption is 4-8 kW/Mwh solar heat.

How a solar heat system works:– The principle is simple, but it requires knowledge and experience to achieve the right flexibility and integration with other heat generating systems.

…solar heat- an important part of the

future heating supply

Focus Energy develops projects and supplies equipment for produc-tion of heat and electricity. This equipment covers everything from individual boilers to turnkey heating and CHP plants. Installations and plants are designed on the basis of ongoing dialogue with the customer, an approach that allows Focus Energy to ensure the best possible solution and sustainable operation. The complete system solution approach also includes following up after commissioning with competent and efficient service.

Focus Energy’s vision: to be a leading supplier of energy plants for environmentally responsible heat production. To this end, Focus Energy places emphasis on acting as a sounding board for its clients throughout the process from planning to delivery, and on being an exciting place to work – a workplace that develops constantly.

Focus Energy’s mission: we aim to develop and supply plants that use the available energy sources to generate thermal energy. We want to make optimal use of the energy by applying modern technology and know-how.
