THE STORM IS OVERTEXT: Mark 4:36-40

The heart of man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides and in its depths it hasits pearls too . Just remember, the storm doesn't last forever. It can scare you; it can shake you to

your core. But it never lasts. The rain subsides, the thunder dies, and the winds calm to a softwhisper. They never last. And that moment after the storm, when all is silent and still, you find peace. Disasters work like alarm clocks to the world, hence God allows them. They areshouting, 'Wake up! Love! Pray!

Mark 4:36 - 41 36 And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was.And other boats were with him. 37 And a great storm of wind arose, and the waves beat into the

boat, so that the boat was already filling. 38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; andthey woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care if we perish?" 39 And he awoke andrebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was agreat calm. 40 He said to them, "Why are you afraid? Have you no faith?" 41 And they werefilled with awe, and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even wind and sea obey him?

Life isnt about waiting for the storm to pass Its aboutlearning to dance in the rain.

This story is very interesting and it is clear that someone might be passing through a mightystorm now; but in the name above other names, you shall celebrate this December in Jesusname. Now, the storm is the problem that is about to overwhelm you. But in that storm of life,Jesus is there with you, watching and waiting for you to acknowledge him. If you are in the

storm and full of fear, the storm can consume you but when you are courageous and know thatyou are a child of God, you can never be consumed by the storm because of your faith in Godand how you cried unto Him. All you need to do is to agree with me that God had said that nomatter the situation, you must experience peace. Meaning that, the storm in your life is over.

After agreeing with me, the next thing you will do is to awake Jesus from sleep, knowing that heis always there to answer whenever you call on Him. We were told that those people were in theship with Jesus. You may be a Christian, may be Catholic- which is also my mothers church,Pentecostal or you may belong to any other denomination; but the truth remains that you are withJesus in the ship of life. Even our brethren in the Muslim world from the same father Abrahamstill believes in the Almighty God being with them. When the king of kings is with you, everystorm in your life must come to an end.

To awake Jesus or the Almighty in your life means to pray Isaiah 52:1 AWAKE, awake; put onthy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforththere shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. What do the prophetmean when he said uncircumcised and unclean; it means those things that are not permitted to be

part of your life, as long as you know the Lord; like sin, spirit of poverty, afflictions, sickness,diseases, barrenness, household enemies, wickedness in high places, enemies and agents ofuntimely death. No peace in the home; spirit that makes children, husbands and wives tomisbehave; evil spirits that vow that some ladies old enough for marriage shall not get married.Even graduates are made to be jobless. Friends also betray friends. The word of God is assuringus that so long as He is with us and as such His presents has made the storm of life to be over, allthese things shall no longer exist in your life any more. I am assuring you that if you agree withme by faith, you must go for thanksgiving in your church very soon in Jesus name. One thing isthat when you are in that storm, accept that it is what God wants to use to make you stronger andthen, glorify Himself. But because you have recognised and acknowledged that God is with youwhile in the storm, the time given to that storm is over today in the mighty name of Jesus. Youmay have tried your best through prayers and fasting, some people may have received prayersseverally and prayed on mountains, camps, and have attended vigils and crusades, it still seemslike the storm is proving stubborn. Let me quickly tell you that whatever that has a beginning

must surely have an ending.

I will show you some examples of those that the storms seem to be swallowing up, yet it was nota big deal for God to prove His power. Remember our text in Mark 4:36- 40; As soon as Jesusrebuked the storm, the Bible said there was a great calm. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,every storm in your life shall be calm. Daddy is telling me that there is someone out there; youhave been through a lot to the extent that you are losing faith in prayers. He said I should tell youthat your testimony shall come before Dece mber 30, 2012. Thank you Lord for this belovethstestimony. In Genesis 11:30; the Bible said Sarah was barren, she had no child; but this stormlasted until she became 90 years of age; then in Gen 21:1-6; after the Lord had visited her, her

storm was over; she had her son Isaac. If your storm is about fruitfulness; surely you mustconceive before three (3) months in Jesus Name. In Exodus 3:7 And the Lord said, I havesurely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard there cry by reason oftheir taskmaster; for I know their sorrows. It may interest you to know that this has been on for430 years.

Exodus 12:40- 41 states; Now the sojourn of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt was fourhundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years,even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land ofEgypt.

Praise the Lord! After all, what they suffered through all those years, God heard their voice andtheir storm became over. It doesnt matter how long your own have lasted. It may be that youdont know that even in your storm you need to have faith and cry unto God in prayers endlesslyand tirelessly and as such, the storm kept on prolonging but thank God you have the fullknowledge on how your storm can easily be over and because you have know this, you arecoming out of that storm today in Jesus name. There are several examples but we shall take few

of them, Matthew 9:20-22; the Bible told us a story of a woman with issue of blood and its beena storm in her life for 12 years but that day as she touched the helm of Jesus garment; she washealed and her storm was over. You just have to put your faith to work.

James 2:17 states, Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. You can pray joining your faith with mine; you can even use this message as a contact point. Just put your faithto work and that storm shall be over in Jesus mighty name.

Maybe people you trusted had disappointed you; just look up to God. John 5:1-8 tells us a storyof a man who was left alone for 38 years, suffering without help. Even when he makes anyeffort, enemies will stop him. But one day, Jesus saw him and his storm became over. Whatabout the one who was born blind? It was like there will be nothing anybody can do but on thatday, he met Jesus.

He got two brand new eyes. Your time has come to wake Jesus out of sleep in your life and Hewill surely rebuke that enemy troubling you and you shall testify very soon in Jesus mightyname. Remember to send you request through text. God bless you.
