• Recruited highly successful & experienced leaders to PCPS
• Established principal partners to provide mentoring support and academic guidance for all principals
• Initiated I BELIEVE campaign
• Completed & submitted Corrective Action Plan to VDOE
• Completed & submitted 60 day Progress Report to General Assembly Senate & House Education Committees • Developed 118 page budget report (1st time in 3-years)
Superintendent’s First 100 DAYS
Accomplishments
• Increased parent and community involvement through creation of community liaison positions in all schools
• Updated over 95 policies for board adoption • Re-established social media using Twitter and Facebook • Published weekly newsletter to administrators and monthly
newsletter to all employees • Facilitated long-range division-wide strategic planning
process • Collaborated with City/Schools Partnership to establish new
bylaws, and process to identify anchor institution and hire coalition director
• Initiated new School Improvement Planning process • Helped advance the work of the City & Schools Partnership

A CALL TO ACTION
The Code of Virginia requires school divisions to have all of its schools fully accredited. PCPS is the only district in Virginia not to every have all of its schools fully accredited.
