Dear Friends, The Waldorf School of Philadelphia is delighted to have you join us this evening as we celebrate our school’s vibrant community. Enjoy the magical transformation of Great Hall, share in one another’s company as we sit side-by-side to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal and raise a glass to our talented teachers, recognizing the passion and dedication they bring to the daily lives of our students.

Your participation in the Moonflower Ball helps to raise important funds that enable us to serve children today and for generations to come. Your support impacts every child who attends our school and enables us to expand our efforts to support families—regardless of their economic circumstances—to have access to Waldorf Education, to support the professional development of our teachers, and to help maintain our beautiful, historic, award-winning campus.

So, as we raise our glasses and our paddles this evening, let’s also celebrate one another. We are family. We support one another in countless ways and make a difference in one another’s lives. Thank you for joining us tonight and for all that you do to help the children in our school experience the joyful love of learning.

With thanks to the faculty and students at the Waldorf School of Philadelphia for their love and support.

The Star ProjectIn ancient times, star showers were considered gifts from the gods, symbolic

of illumination and enlightenment. Waldorf Education awakens every part of the student’s learning life, and The Star Project evolved from the desire to celebrate how we are all unique, radiant, connected members of the Waldorf

family. Every child from the Nursery to the 8th Grade has contributed to the project. We invite you to have your own sensory experience as you walk

through the installation at The Moonflower Ball.
