• Try your best and don’t rush!

• Use your skips if you are unsure. (You have three SKIPS. They are located in the bottom right hand corner in an orange bar. Skipping does NOT affect your score.)

• If this is your second time taking the test, try to beat your last score!

Choosing a Book

• Take your SRI score and choose a book with a Lexile that falls in the range of:

– 100 below to 50 above your score

• Go to www.lexile.com if you need to look up the Lexile of a book
