Caring for Others Day

We want to be there to help others. We can do this in various ways. One way our congregation does this is through our “Food Pantry.” We seek to have a ready supply of food staples on hand so that those who are lacking at any given time can have a source of help. So, we need to stock up. Please bring to this service a “Stock the Pantry Offering” (canned goods, packaged goods, etc. Note: Do not bring anything that requires refrigeration.]

Sunday, November 12th—11:00 a.m. “Seeing to the Needs of Others Service

“ “A Day of Saying Thanks” Lord’s Day, November 19th

11:00 a.m. – “Thank You God Service” & Thanksgiving Offering This is an opportunity for you to say thanks to God for what He has done and for what He continues to do. This offering is an offering beside what you normally bring to the Lord on the Lord’s Day. Our goal is to bring in an additional $2500 that can be used to help us meet our budgeted expenses.

12:30 p.m. – “Thanksgiving Meal” Turkeys & Hams will be generously provided by several members of our congregation. Everyone who can is asked to bring side dishes and desserts. This meal is always a wonderful time of sharing. Plan on sup-porting this meal with your fellowship, with your service, and by inviting others to come and be with us for the day.

6:30 p.m. – “Communion Only Service” This time is for those unable to be at the Lord’s Table earlier in the day and who desire to commune with Jesus.

For our meal we need donations of turkeys and ham (cooked). Broth would be appreciated for gravy.

4 Turkeys and 3 Hams
