Rules of Thai Boxing

TAKE notice that pursuant to section 10 of the Boxing andMartial Arts Act 2000, Michael John Wright, Minister forRecreation, Sport and Racing, and the Minister of the Crown towhom the administration of the Boxing and Martial Arts Act 2000is committed, has approved the rules applicable to the conduct ofThai Boxing events to commence operation on 14 May 2003.

TAKE notice that pursuant to the Crown Lands Act 1929, I JOHNHILL, Minister for Environment and Conservation, Minister of theCrown to whom the administration of the Crown Lands Act, 1929is committed DO HEREBY:

1. Resume the land defined in The First Schedule.

2. Dedicate the Crown Land defined in The Second Schedule asa Fire Station Reserve and declare that such land shall beunder the care, control and management of the Minister forEmergency Services.

1. The Development Plan amendment entitled ‘AlexandrinaCouncil—Residential and Country Living—Hindmarsh Island(West) Plan Amendment’ (the Plan Amendment) has beenfinalised in accordance with the provisions of the DevelopmentAct 1993.

2. The Minister for Urban Development and Planning hasdecided to approve the Plan Amendment.

LAND ACQUISITION ACT 1969

Notice of Acquisition

S.A. WATER CORPORATION (the ‘Authority’), Level 15, S.A.Water House, 77 Grenfell Street, Adelaide, S.A. 5000 acquires thefollowing interests in the following land:

First, the fee simple of that piece of land being portion ofsection 328 in the Hundred of Ripon and being portion of theland comprised and described in certificate of title register bookvolume 5550, folio 534, more particularly delineated andmarked Allotment 50 in Deposited Plan 61097.

Secondly, as appurtenant to the land first above described afree and unrestricted right of way over that portion of Allotment51 in Deposited Plan 61097 marked ‘D’ and being portion ofthe land comprised in the said certificate of title volume 5550,folio 534.

Thirdly, as appurtenant to the land first above described aneasement for water supply purposes over portion of Allotments51 and 52 in Deposited Plan 61097 marked ‘B’, an easement forthe transmission of electricity by underground cable overportion of Allotment 51 in Deposited Plan 61097 marked ‘C’,an easement to construct and maintain a roadway over thatportion of Allotment 51 in Deposited Plan 61097 marked ‘D’those portions of Allotments 51 and 52 in Deposited Plan 61097marked ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ being portion of the land comprised inthe said certificate of title volume 5550, folio 534.

This notice is given under section 16 of the Land AcquisitionAct 1969.

Offer of Compensation

A person who has or had an interest in the land that is divestedor diminished by the acquisition or the enjoyment of which isadversely affected by the acquisition who does not receive an offerof compensation from the Authority may apply to the Authorityfor compensation.

1. commercial flocks being reared for either table eggproduction or hatching eggs; or

2. layer flocks over 1 000 birds or where the flock is less than1 000 birds the eggs from the flock are sold wholesale or to aretailer or agency; or

3. meat flocks where the birds are destined to be processed ina poultry processing plant licensed under the Meat Hygiene Act1994,

must be vaccinated with a Newcastle Disease vaccine, inaccordance with the Newcastle Disease Vaccination ProgramStandard Operating Procedures as approved, from time to time, bythe National Management Group of the Primary IndustriesStanding Committee and the Chief Inspector of Stock.

In addition, no person may introduce into South Australia anypoultry destined for use within the commercial poultry industryunless the birds have been vaccinated for Newcastle Disease virusin accordance with the Newcastle Disease Vaccination ProgramStandard Operating Procedures.

NATIONAL PARKS REGULATIONS 2001

Closure of the Gawler Ranges National Park

PURSUANT to Regulation 8(3)(d) of the National ParksRegulations 2001, I, Edward Gregory Leaman, the Director ofNational Parks and Wildlife, close to the public the whole of theGawler Ranges National Park from sunrise on Monday, 4 August2003 until sunset on Friday, 8 August 2003.

The purpose of the closure is to ensure the safety of the publicduring a feral animal-culling program within the reserve duringthe period indicated.

Use of Firearms within the Reserve

Pursuant to Regulations 8(4), 20(1) and 41 of the NationalParks Regulations 2001, I, Edward Gregory Leaman, the Directorof National Parks and Wildlife grant permission to members of theSporting Shooters Association of Australia (South AustralianBranch) in possession of both a current Hunting Permit and afirearm to enter and remain in the Gawler Ranges National Parkfrom sunrise on Monday, 4 August 2003 until sunset on Friday, 8August 2003 for the purpose of taking feral animals.

This permission is conditional upon the observance by each ofthose persons of the requirements of the National Parks andWildlife Act 1972, the National Parks Regulations 2001 and theNational Parks and Wildlife (Hunting) Regulations 1996,including those requiring compliance with the directions, requests,requirements and orders of a Warden.

BY Road Process Order made on 1 February 2003, The BerriBarmera Council ordered that:

1. Portion of the public road (Walsh Road) between SuttonStreet and Spiller Road and sections 467 and 815 in theHundred of Cobdogla more particularly lettered ‘A’ inPreliminary Plan No. 02/0068 be closed.

2. The whole of the land subject to closure be transferred toDaryl Graham Wutke and Lyn-Maree Wutke in accordance withagreement for transfer dated 31 January 2003 entered intobetween The Berri Barmera Council and D. G. and L. M.Wutke.

On 11 April 2003 that order was confirmed by the Minister forAdministrative Services conditionally on approval and deposit ofthe survey plan by the Registrar-General. The condition has nowbeen fulfilled.

Pursuant to section 24 (5) of the Roads (Opening and Closing)Act 1991, NOTICE of the order referred to above and itsconfirmation is hereby given.

Characteristics Altered

MARINERS are advised that the following beacons light charac-teristics have altered:

Port Adelaide River:

The No. 4 Inward Front and Rear Leads, and the No. 10Outward Front and Rear Leads have been altered to Fixed Bluelights (FBu). Mariners should note that the No. 10 OutwardFront Lead is also the No. 24 Channel Beacon and as such itslight characteristics as a channel marker remain unchanged (FlR 3s).

Port Pirie River:

The Front and Rear Leads on True Bearing 182°10′ have beenaltered to Fixed Blue lights (FBu). Mariners should note that theRear Lead is also the No. 56 Channel Beacon and its lightcharacteristics as a channel marker have also been altered to aflashing red light every two seconds (Fl R 2s).

Thevenard (Yatala Channel):

A very quick flashing red light has been placed on theexisting daymark on Bird Rock at approximate AGD co-ordinate position 32°11′S, 133°36.95′E (VQ R).

Functions of Transmission Corporation8. (1) The Transmission Corporation's functions are limited to the following:

(a) to be the lessor under a lease granted in respect of prescribed assets by a transferorder or a sale/lease agreement made under the Electricity Corporations(Restructuring and Disposal) Act 1999;

(b) to be a party to an instrument related to a lease referred to in paragraph (a) orrelated to property the subject matter of such a lease;

(c) to be the operator of prescribed assets on the expiration or sooner termination ofsuch a lease;

(d) to hold prescribed assets as owner or lessee for the purposes of a functionreferred to in a preceding paragraph;

(e) to carry out other functions conferred on the Transmission Corporation by RESI;

(f) to do anything necessary or expedient to be done for the purposes of a functionreferred to in a preceding paragraph.

(2) In this regulation—

"asset", "lease", "lessor" and "lessee" have the same meanings as in the ElectricityCorporations (Restructuring and Disposal) Act 1999;

"prescribed assets" means—

(a) powerlines (within the meaning of the Electricity Act 1996); or

(b) substations for converting, transforming or controlling electricity; or

(c) equipment for metering, monitoring, or controlling electricity; or

(d) any wires, equipment or other things (including tunnels and cavities)used for, or in connection with, the transmission of electricity; or

(e) any other assets that are, have been or may be used in connection withthe operation of a transmission network (within the meaning of theElectricity Act 1996); or

(f) land or interests in land on, over or under which infrastructure referredto in a preceding paragraph is situated or by which access is obtained tosuch infrastructure.

Insertion of regulation 10A8. After regulation 10 insert:

Chief executive10A. The board must not appoint or remove a person as chief executive officer of the

Transmission Corporation unless it has first consulted with RESI.

Substitution of regulation 119. Regulation 11—delete the regulation and substitute:

Annual report11. The Transmission Corporation must, within three months after the end of each

financial year, deliver to the Minister and RESI a report on its operations during that financialyear.
