Preamble

1. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on13 July 1978 (see Gazette 13 July 1978 p. 120) the following landwas reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI, VII and VIIIof that Act:

The lands delineated and bounded by a heavy black line in theplan contained in the Schedule to the proclamation.

2. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on22 January 1987 (see Gazette 22 January 1987 p. 125) thefollowing land was reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI,VIA, VII and VIII of that Act:

Section 402, Hundred of Myponga.

3. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on10 May 1990 (see Gazette 10 May 1990 p. 1260) the followingland was reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI, VIA, VIIand VIII of that Act:

Section 1E, Hundred of Cummins.

4. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on14 May 1992 (see Gazette 14 May 1992 p. 1384) the followingland was reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI, VIA, VIIand VIII of that Act:

Sections 123, 173 and 176, Hundred of Dublin.

5. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on15 October 1992 (see Gazette 15 October 1992 p. 1308) thefollowing land was reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI,VIA, VII and VIII of that Act:

(a) Sections 13, 101 and 507, Hundred of Dublin;

(b) Sections 300 and 311, Hundred of Inkerman.

6. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on 4March 1993 (see Gazette 4 March 1993 p. 794) the following landwas reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI, VIA, VII andVIII of that Act:

Sections 43 and 307, Hundred of Dublin.

7. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on29 August 1991 (see Gazette 29 August 1991 p. 690) thefollowing land was reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI,VIA, VII and VIII of that Act:

Section 98, Hundred of Kelly.

8. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on 2September 1982 (see Gazette 2 September 1982 p. 633) thefollowing land was reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI,VIA, VII and VIII of that Act:

(a) Sections 82 and 83, Hundred of Witera;

(b) Section 16, Hundred of Stokes.

9. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on11 April 1991 (see Gazette 11 April 1991 p. 1209) the followingland was reserved from the operation of Parts IV, V, VI, VIA, VIIand VIII of that Act:

(a) Sections 38 and 330, Hundred of Inkerman;

(b) Section 18, Hundred of Hooper.

10. By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971 on5 May 1994 (see Gazette 5 May 1994 p. 1132)—

(a) the following land was reserved from the operation ofParts 4, 6, 6A, 7 and 8 of that Act:

Sections 324, 328 and 382, Hundred of Inkerman; and

(b) the following land was reserved from the operation ofParts 4, 5, 6, 6A, 7 and 8 of that Act:

That portion of Block 640, Out of Hundreds (Yardea)bounded by a line joining points of co-ordinates 526 500mE, 6 395 000 mN; 528 000 mE, 6 395 000 mN; 528000 mE, 6 393 500 mN; 526 500 mE, 6 393 500 mN,AMG Zone 53, successively.

11. Under clause 1 of Schedule 1 of the Opal Mining Act 1995land reserved from the operation of the Mining Act 1971immediately before the commencement of that clause is to betaken to have been reserved from the operation of the Opal MiningAct 1995.

12. It is now intended that—

(a) all of the land referred to in clauses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7;and

(b) part of the land referred to in clauses 8, 9 and 10,

not be reserved from the operation of any Part of the Mining Act1971 or the Opal Mining Act 1995.

ProclamationPURSUANT to section 8(2) of the Mining Act 1971 and section4(2) of the Opal Mining Act 1995 and with the advice and consentof the Executive Council, I—

(a) revoke the proclamations referred to in clauses 1, 2, 3, 4,5, 6 and 7 of the preamble;

(b) vary the proclamation referred to in clause 8 of thepreamble by striking out from the Schedule ‘Sections 82and 83, Hundred of Witera.’;

(c) vary the proclamation referred to in clause 9 of thepreamble by striking out ‘Section 18, Hundred ofHooper.’;

(d) vary the proclamation referred to in clause 10 of thepreamble by striking out from paragraph (a) ‘Sections324, 328 and 382, Hundred of Inkerman; and’ andsubstituting ‘Section 328, Hundred of Inkerman; and’.

The above items were suspected to have been used or intendedto be used, in contravention of the Fisheries Act 1982, and weretaken into possession at Red Rock Bay on 17 April 2002.

After the expiration of one month from the date of this noticethe items listed above shall, on the order of the Minister forPrimary Industries, be forfeited to the Crown and shall be eitherdisposed of by sale or destruction.

Contributions towards Primary Functions Under the Act forYear, 2001-2002

PURSUANT to section 23 of the above Act, the Phylloxera andGrape Industry Board gives notice that registered persons (beingpersons who are recorded in the Register established by the Boardas owners of 0.5 hectares, or more of planted vines) mustcontribute to the costs of the Board’s primary functions for theyear ending 30 April 2002.

The rules of calculation of such contributions are as follows:

(1) Calculations will be based on the area of vines recordedin the Register as being owned by each person.

NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with section 10 of theRoads (Opening and Closing) Act 1991, that the City ofCampbelltown proposes to make a Road Process Order to closethe following road:

In the Hundred of Adelaide, being a rectangularly-shapedportion of Trewren Avenue, Rostrevor situate along andadjoining the northern boundary of allotment 1 in DepositedPlan 3548 and marked ‘A’ on Preliminary Plan No. PP02/0033.

It is proposed that the portion of road to be closed marked ‘A’be transferred to P. S. A. Vozzo and merged with said allotment 1in Deposited Plan 3548.

A preliminary plan of the proposal, and a statement, areavailable for public inspection at the Campbelltown CouncilOffice, 172 Montacute Road, Rostrevor between the hours of8.45 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday or at the Adelaide officeof the Surveyor-General during normal office hours.

CITY OF MARION

Periodical Boundary Review

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Marion is currentlyundertaking a review of its ward boundaries and elector represen-tation. Council is required to undertake this review in accordancewith section 12 of the Local Government Act 1999.

An initial call for community input was sought in November2001, with regard to the Review. Council now seeks communityfeedback on a preferred option of the ward boundaries.

Council has prepared a report that details the Review processand the proposal that it considers should be implemented.Interested persons are invited to make a written submission to thecouncil in respect to the proposed option. Submissions are to bereceived by the close of business on Friday, 31 May 2002.
