Helping Hands is the theme for Children’s Ministry Day 2013. Church leaders will encourage their girls and boys to lend a hand to the homeless and others living in poverty in the community.

Children’s Ministry DayTM is an annual, one-day missions experience created by WMU®.

What is Helping Hands?

Why take part in Children’s Ministry Day 2013?

1. It’s inspiring. Children and their leaders reach out with God’s love.

2. It’s easy. Churches create their own hands-on, missions projects.

3. It works. Through missions projects, children live out their faith and are more likely to get involved again.

Since 2008, more than 150,000 people have taken part in Children’s Ministry Day!

WMU invites all children ingrades 1-6 to participate.

So how can my children serve God while helping others?

Children could prepare hygiene packs at a ministry center

Serve a meal at a homeless shelter

Sort clothes at a clothes closet

Clean classrooms at a local school

The possibilities are endless!
