–“The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord” (Jer. 7:4)

–Jeremiah 5:26-29 - “Among my people are wicked men who lie in wait like men who snare birds and like those who set traps to catch men. Like cages full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; they have become rich and powerful and have grown fat and sleek. – Jeremiah 10:3-5: “For the customs of the people are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.
