As for myself, I am calling a mulli- gan since a do over for 2020 seems appro- priate. It has definitely been a challenging year and I think most everyone will be very glad to put the year safely behind us. The club has looked particularly festive throughout the holidays. Thank you to Sandy Diener and everyone who helped the entertainment committee decorate the club and make it look so nice. This would include the donation of the Christmas tree out on the pier and Tony and Juju for stringing the lights. Most companies and civic groups cancelled their traditional holiday parties because of the pandemic. As for the club, we did our best to maintain the Tom & Jerry tradition, Santa still visited, and many enjoyed a delicious New Year’s eve dinner. Club members responded generously to the annual Toys for Tots campaign. The donation bin overflowed several times and several pick ups had to be scheduled. The bin for Sheboygan Coun- ty Food Bank overflowed three times and required three very large pick ups for that organization. The Food Bank was very grateful since their need has been stronger than ever. The support shown for our own employee suffering serious health issues has been abso- lutely fantastic. She and her family are extremely grateful and their handwritten note of thanks is on display inside our front door for all to read. Club shut down is scheduled to run Saturday, January 2 nd through Monday January 11 th . We will open Tuesday the 12 th with Taco Tuesday dinner specials and the bar will be open. A full din- ner menu is expected to be available beginning Wednesday. Sched- uling shut down over two long weekends is intended to help social distancing and minimize crowding. Many smaller cleaning projects are planned rather than any one large, labor-intensive, major pro- ject. Shut down is a great opportunity meet other members, put in a lot of work hours, and benefit the club with some deep cleaning projects. COVID vaccines and their increasing availability bring the hope of ending this terrible pandemic, but it is not over yet. Please come down and enjoy your club, and use it frequently. When you do, please continue to wash hands, wear a mask, and social distance. Please do your part to take extra precautions to keep ourselves, and our staff, safe and healthy. I wish everyone a very Happy New Year and best wishes for a healthy year as

well. As for myself, I am calling a mulli-gan since a do over for 2020 seems appro-priate. It has definitely been a challenging year and I think most everyone will be very glad to put the year safely behind us. The club has looked particularly festive throughout the holidays.
