GATHERING TOGETHER
CALL TO WORSHIP: based on Psalm 145:1-2, 4 Judith Bloor-Brandt
Leader: We exalt you, our God and King. May your name be praise forever and ever!
People: Every day we will seek you, celebrate you, and praise you. All: One generation will declare your works to the next and will make
known your mighty acts. WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS PRELUDE CONFESSING OUR FAITH: based on 2 Timothy 3:14-17 Judith Bloor-Brandt
We trust the authority and truthfulness of God’s Word in Holy Scripture. For it is written: “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
* GATHERING SONG: I Love to Tell the Story (see insert—v. 1,2,4) * PRAYER OF CONFESSION: based on Psalm 145:8-13 Judith Bloor-Brandt
Lord, you are gracious, you are compassionate, you are slow to anger and overflow with faithful love. You are holy, you are perfect, you are good. You rescue us when we fall, you strengthen us when we are weak, you restore us when we fail. Every one of your promises is “yes and amen” in your Son. Trusting Jesus, our Savior, we confess to our sins to you… (silent confession)
