Halloween aside, it is time to begin planning for this year's Christmas Sale, December 3, 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.. Sign-up sheets have been posted on the TPW bulletin board as volunteers are needed to help decorate and set up tables Thursday, December 1st, provide baked goods, staff the kitchen Friday December 4th to receive baked goods, as cashiers, baggers, runners and hostesses to help with cookie/craft sales Saturday December 3rd, and to help with kitchen clean up and laundry of linens after the sale. Mark your calendars and sign-up early to secure your volunteer assignment! Funds from the sale help area agencies serving women and children, and other mission work as needed throughout 2017. Soon the bells will ring , and hospitality we'll bring at our joyous Christmas Sale! Did you know that TPW keeps an ingredients file for baked goods brought over the years to the sale? Kizito Cookie Dough Fundraiser: The preschool would like to invite the church family to participate in our annual Kizito Cookie Dough Fundraiser. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase cookie dough for your family and upcoming holiday events. An information letter and order form is available on the table in the narthex. All orders need to be returned to the preschool mailbox in the volunteer office by Friday October 21st. The cookie dough will be delivered Wednesday, November 9th during WOW. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD PACKING PARTY NOVEMEBER 2

The Mission Committee will be hosting the WOW program on November 2. We will be doing our Operation Christmas Child packing party that evening. We are asking that you bring donations for the shoe boxes.

Suggested Items Larger (WOW) items: Soccer ball (deflated) with pump, Stuffed animal, Toys puppets, trucks, etc.), Doll (baby, Barbie, etc.), Musical instrument, Outfit, Shoes Toys: toy cars, yo-yos, jump ropes, balls, toys that light up and make noise (with extra batteries), etc. School Supplies: pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, markers, notebooks, paper , solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc. Non-liquid Hygiene Items: toothbrushes, bar soap, combs, washcloths, etc. Accessories: T-shirts, socks, hats, sunglasses, hair clips, jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries), etc. If you would like to bring with you a Personal Note: You may enclose a note to the child and a photo of yourself or your family. If you include your name and an address, the child may be able to write back.

Please remember liquid items can NOT be included in the shoeboxes!
