JULY 2011 Hello OMS Students! Camp season has passed by in a flash! Itʼs kinda crazy isnʼt it? One week you canʼt wait to get out there, then the next week it is already gone. We hope all who went had an amazing experience with God at Wheat State this year, but even more so we hope that you donʼt let your fire go out as you drift back into the real world. Here are some steps to keep your relationship with Christ healthy and growing: Get into your word on a daily basis! It is the easiest and best way to hear from God! Take a specific time out of your day to spend time in prayer. “Keep the conversation going.” Prayer is not just for church or camp. Itʼs key to your relationship with Christ. Find some one who can mentor you and challenge you to grow on a daily basis. Itʼs hard to run the race all by yourself! These are a few things that will help you maintain your passion for God this summer. Remember not to let the momentum die! Love you guys, and hope your summers are going amazing! -PL FINE ARTS National fine arts is being held in Phoenix, Arizona this year, and we have an awesome group of people going. Along with youth groups from Salina and Winfield, we will be traveling by bus to the beautiful city of Phoenix on July 31st. The cost is $250 this year (includes lodging, food, and travel). Itʼs going to be an awesome time of fellowship, fun, and growing in the gifts that God has given us. Here are some of the categories that we are competing in: now on facebook too!
