 The  Schools  Consultancy  To  Care  For,  Challenge  And  Inspire  A  Future  Generation.    Education  is  such  a  precious  gift  to  offer  your  children,  and  it  last  a  lifetime!      Choosing  the  right  Independent  school   in  the  UK  can  be  time  consuming  and  complex,  and  requires  much  research  and  know-­‐how.  So,   it   is   imperative  that  you  seek  advice   from  professionals  with  the  experience  and  in-­‐depth  knowledge  to  find  the  school  that  is  just  right  for  your  children.      The   Schools   Consultancy   can   help   –  we   have   an   enviable   reputation   for   supporting   discriminating  families  to  make  the  best  possible  choice  for  each  of  their  children.      The  Partners  have  over  40  years’  experience  as  leading  Independent  school  Headmasters,  where  they  have  guided  very  many  families  towards  the  right  schools   for  their  children.  Today,  the  Partnership  offers  a  personal  and  bespoke  service  to  families  who  share  our  vision  and  wish  to  ensure  that  their  sons  and  daughters  gain  entry  to  the  best  possible  preparatory  and  senior  schools  in  the  UK.  You  can  expect  high  academic  standards  in  the  schools  that  we  recommend,  a  culture  of  success  and  wealth  of  opportunity  in  a  happy,  purposeful  atmosphere.      If  you  are   looking   for  a  boarding  school,  we  will  work  with  you  to   identify   the  correct  “fit”   for  your  family   and   introduce   you   to   schools   with   pastoral   care   of   the   highest   order,   offering   a   school  experience  that  will  be  cherished  for  life.      The   UK’s   Independent   schools   are   widely   regarded   as   the   best   in   the   world,   and   The   Schools  Consultancy   can   assist   you   and   your   family   to   access   and   benefit   from   this   world-­‐class   education.  What  sets  us  apart  is  the  combined  experience  of  the  Partners  as  former  headmasters  and  their  huge  network  of  contacts  in  the  UK’s  Independent  schools.    We  offer:    An  initial  meeting  to  understand  your  requirements  and  really  get  to  know  your  children  so  we  can  fully  explore  a  range  of  options.    To  arrange  a  full  range  of  academic  assessments  that  will  be  helpful  to  both  parents  and  destination  schools.      To  draw  up  a  personalised  family  report  and  meet  with  you  to  discuss  a  choice  of  schools  where  there  are  vacancies  and  which  are  best  suited  to  your  children.      To  arrange  accompanied  tours  of  the  schools  selected  (or  the  Partners  will  visit  the  schools  on  your  behalf)  and  prepare  an  action  plan  prior  to  school  assessment.    To  ensure  all   entry   forms  are   completed  and   that  your   children’s   current   schools  are   contacted   for  references.    To  meet  with  you  as  a  family  to  help  make  final  choices.    In   the   future   to   either   arrange   a   ‘Trusted   Friend  Mentor’   or   support   at   each   stage   of   your   child’s  school  journey  from  preparatory  school  through  to  university  entry.        

In  addition,  we  have  a  network  of  ‘Trusted  Friends’  who  are  able  to  offer:    

• Full  Educational  Psychologist  assessments,  if  appropriate  • Individual   tutoring   to   help   prepare   children   for   entry   examinations   –   this   can   be   either  

arranged   on   a   ‘residential   live-­‐in   basis’   or   through   a   ‘Trusted   Friend’   relationship   at   your  London  home    

• Guardian  services  and  personal  airport  transfers  for  your  children  • The  option  of  a  highly  experienced  ‘Trusted  Friend’  to  attend  all  parents’  evenings  and  report  

back  to  you  in  detail  on  progress  made  • Advice  on  Visas  from  a  leading  London  Immigration  Law  Practice  

 Our  Professional  Fees.    Initial   meeting   and   detailed   action   plan:   £450   exc.   VAT   (plus   additional   travel   expenses   outside  London).      Full  support  service  from  initial  consultation  to  accompanied  tours  to  at  least  3  schools,  liaising  with  the  schools  right  through  to  a  successful  conclusion.      A  fixed  fee  would  be  agreed  at  the  outset  depending  on  the  number  of  children  within  the  family  and  the  phases  of  schooling  that  we  are  securing.  Often  families  ask  us  to  secure  places  at  preparatory  and  senior  schools  at  the  time  of  engagement.      Professional   fees   will   be   discussed   at   the   initial   meeting.   Family   and   corporate   packages   can   be  discussed  on  an  individual  basis.    Additional  support  during  your  child’s  career  from  a  ‘Trusted  Educational  Friend.’        We  have  developed  a  special  support  package  for  families  based  overseas,  whereby  a  Partner  or  one  of  our  Trusted  Educational  Friends   (a   recently   retired   independent   school  head   teacher),  would  be  assigned  to  your  family  and  represent  you  at  parents’  evenings  and,  on  request,  attend  school  plays,  sports  days  and  carol  services  on  your  behalf.      There   would   also   be   a   termly   weekend   visit   where   the   children   would   be   taken   out   for   lunch   or  supper  and  enjoy  time  with  a  ‘Trusted  Educational  Friend’  of  your  family.    Regular   contact  would   be  maintained   through   FaceTime   or   Skype   and,  we  would   hope,   an   annual  supper  in  London!    Details  available  on  request.    Our  commitment  to  your  family.    The  Schools  Consultancy  from  the  outset  has  been  designed  as  a  service  to  represent  the  interests  of  discerning   families.   Our   network   is  wide   and  we   do   not   accept   commission   from   schools   for   pupil  placements.    We  believe  this  enables  the  Schools  Consultancy  to  offer  the  best  possible  choice  at  the  very  best  schools  in  an  impartial  manner.  Our  relationship  of  trust  with  leading  independent  schools  in  the  UK  is  based  around  this  premise.
