SIGNIFICANT EVENTS IN THE SCHEME OF REDEMPTION

Mankind receives commands from Maker.

Genesis 2:15 And Jehovah God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Genesis 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.


Failed in these requirements.

Genesis 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Notice that this was the only command broken, it was broken only once & the time of obedient service did not keep them from the consequences.

Consequences of Sin

1. Sorrow in conception

2. Desire would be to her husband, rule over her.

3. Ground would bring forth thorns and thistles.

4. Man would work by the sweat of his face.

5. Death – Physical & Spiritual.

6. Driven from garden and tree of life.


REDEMPTIONBeginning Of A Temporary Arrangement For Sin

Genesis 3:21 And Jehovah God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins, and clothed them.


Here we find God’s plan from eternity first begin to roll out! The consummate plan.

Genesis 3:15 and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: he shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, saying, in thee shall all the nations be blessed.
