Learning biblical truth “they accepted his message” “They devoted themselves to the apostles’

teaching” “Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders

and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.” Heb. 2:3-4 This salvation, which was first announced by

the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

How are we doing devoting ourselves to learning biblical truth?

Intercession “They devoted themselves to…prayer” Because they knew their desperate need

for the power and presence of God, prayer was central (not peripheral)

Fellowship “They devoted themselves to…the fellowship.” “Every day they continued to meet together...” “…in the temple courts. They broke bread in their

homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.”

“44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.”
