The RTR is ideal for large steam boilers and hotwater boilers with rectangular or square stacks (combustion sources with round exhausts willrequire optional stack transitions). Typical heatsinks include boiler feedwater, makeup water,hot water return, hot waterstorage tank, condensatetank, process water, andpotable water. The RTRSeries for combustionexhaust retrofit has fin tube material available instainless steel, carbonsteel, 316 stainless tubeand carbon steel fin or Al-Fuse with special finspacings when specified.The internal gas bypasscan be used to temper the exiting gas for stackcorrosion control, to maintain minimum exhausttemperature leaving the economizer, or tempermaximum water temperatures when too muchheat is available. The RTR can also operate onNo. 6 fuel oil combustion, but would require anoptional sootblower. The RTR has individual fintubes compression fitted to the liquid manifold,providing easy tube removal for inspection,cleaning or replacement, without any welding.
