Since its founding in 1747, its unique flair has been enjoyed by innnumerable well-known personalities and royalty. King Ludwig the I, who contributed to the development of Bad

Brückenau, loved it so much that he refered to it as „My Brückenau“ declaring it his official summer residence.

During this time Ludwig was largely responsi-ble for the harmonious architectural layout of the spa and many now historic buildings were erected.

The Wernarz springThe extremely low con-tent of table salt and sodium and the extre-mely small amounts of solid mineral components make the medicinal water from the Wernarz spring very special for kidney and bladder ailments.

The Sinnberg springHealth-conscious people appreciate this particularly soft and delicate medicinal water with its high mineral content and plenty of natural carbonic acid. Thanks to its first-class taste, it has been given the title of „Bad Brückenau Champagne“.

The Lola Montez springMedicinal water from this spring contains an extra portion of minerals and trace elements. It is good for the skin, and also has favourable properties for the teeth, hair and nails. In 1847, Lola Mon-tez stayed in Bad Brü-ckenau together with King Ludwig I, who admired her beauty.
