Chapter 1: The start of a career

Started work in a busy pub in London; saving and considering Accountancy.

”APRIL 2014

Chapter 2: The taste of success

Bought a few courses regarding Finance, Business and Accountancy

”AUGUST 2014

Chapter 3: The start of something wonderful.

Decided to start the AAT Accountancy Course, Introduced to All Inclusive

”SEPTEMBER 2014

Chapter 4: Opportunity of a lifetime.

All inclusive helped me obtain an interview with Croydon Council; passed the interview and started the apprenticeship at Croydon. Started AAT Level 2.

”NOVEMBER 2014

Chapter 5: Job and Education; Ying and Yang

The modules were so much easier to understand due to learning through the Apprenticeship.

”MARCH 2015

Chapter 6: On to better things.

Completed AAT level 2 in 6 months; Started AAT level 3

”SEPTEMBER 2015

Chapter 7: End of a glorious era.

Contract is ending with Croydon Council; substantial knowledge gained; much more prospects and oppotunities

“BEING AN APPRENTICE WHILST LEARNING ENABLED ME TO APPRECIATE AND APPLY WHAT I LEARNT INTO PRACTICE.”

A FEW POINTS OF ADVICE:• Be committed

• Be punctual

• Always be enthusiastic and ask for more tasks if you have completed what has been entrusted to you.

• Always network

• Help is always there. Utilise it.

• Always improve what you have.

• Make a mention of all of the tasks and skills that you have learnt, along with the AAT modules that you have competed.

• AND BE CONSISTENT!
