What is Propaganda Movement?It was a literary and cultural association of Filipinos who settled and studied in Europe.

It is the manipulation of information to influence public opinion.

Results of Propaganda Movement:They removed the tobacco monopoly in our country.The 40 days of forced labor became 15 days a year.The tribute was replaced to cedula tax.They were unsuccessful in convincing the Spaniards to grant out their reforms.Some of their writings were confiscated especially those that were done by Jose Rizal.Their funds ran out.Some of the propagandists were killed and Rizal was executed.

Some Filipinos were accused of being members of the movement.

Filipinos didn’t get their freedom from the Spaniards.
