Where is it Located The respiratory system starts at your nose
or your mouth, then travels down your throat and ends in your chest at your lungs.
How to Keep Your System Healthy1. Drink plenty of fluids.
2. Do not smoke.
3. Soup broth helps colds and coughs.
Main Parts The Lungs

Definitions of The Systems Parts
Nasal Cavity- The cavity on either side of the nasal septum going from the nares to the pharynx.
Trachea- The windpipe going from larynx and the bronchi.
Bronchi- A small branch of bronchous.
Bronchioles- The same as bronchi.
Pharynx- The tube with its surrounding membrane and muscles. It connects the mouth and the esophagus.
Definitions of The System Parts
Lungs- Either of the two saclike respiratory organs in the middle of humans and the higher vertebrates.
Alveolus- An air cell of the lungs, formed by tiny air passageways.
Diaphragm- A muscular, membranous wall separating cavitys, or limiting them.
Larynx - Membrane at the upper part of the trachea in humans, in which the vocal cords are located.
Diseases Bronchitis- A condition in which the small
airways in the lungs become inflamed with a virus.
Asthma- When you have asthma, your lungs are smaller than usual.
Lung Cancer- One of the commonest forms of cancer.
Pneumonia- Inflammation of the of the lungs with congestion.
Cure to The Diseases Bronchitis- Sometimes, no treatment is necessary.
Antibiotics don’t work against viral infections. Most medications don’t help treat bronchitis
Asthma- Control airway swelling, and stay away from things that trigger your asthma.
Lung Cancer- Since Lung Cancer spreads fast, treatment must include cancer-killing drugs (chemotherapy) taken by mouth or injected into the body.
Pneumonia- Your doctor has to first decide whether you need to be in the hospital. If you are treated in the hospital, you will receive: Fluids and antibiotics in your veins Oxygen therapy Breathing treatments (possibly)
