Advantages:
• individual information
• complete coverage of time
• important administrative questions are reliable
• to report statistics and longitudinal studies
• to create research data
Disadvantages:
• depend on the administrative system’s population
• changes in administrative systems make comparison difficult
• lower quality of less important administrative information
