“Fall is here and winter is not far away, and I am simply not

ready yet. All happening too soon and so fast, I’m just saying.

You have probably been feeling the shift in energy that is

bringing challenges into many people’s lives. These

challenges, while different for each person, are likely to occur

in areas where there have been unresolved issues or ignored

feelings. These challenges are a necessary part of moving into

higher consciousness. Perhaps it’s time for different approaches!

My Cancer - My Story

One of my life’s intents was not to do cancer. With this intend I tried to live a healthy lifestyle and diet. I had a root canal tooth for 36 years which slowly poisoned me and weakened my system, gave me strange health issues over the years. I ended up with plenty arthritis and started taking Glucosamine, turmeric, tipsy raisons and whatever might reduce or take away the inflammation and more important I had my root canal tooth removed and life looked good again.

Are Root Canals Really a Cause of Cancer?

With aging comes the odd health problem and it was time to go to the doctor for a checkup. It looked as if I have a breathing problem, so the doctor send me to a specialist and indeed I have mild asthma and my blood pressure went up to two and three times from normal when walking. It was then suggested to have my heart checked, and so I went for more tests, and my heart seemed pretty OK as per tests. However, one of those heart tests showed some glowing in my left breast, and would you believe I had breast cancer. I keep an eye on myself, nothing looked up normal or gave me pain. Well, the fact is I had breast cancer, and it was by sheer intent of the universe that the staff doing the stress test paid attention and reported it, it was not part of their job remit to look for possible breast cancer. The doctor called me and arranged tests to establish what needed to be done, and so the journey started. (root canal revenge)

I am a Reiki master/teacher, so I started paying more attention to me, the cancer I had, and the journey I was on. I did much research into cancer to see what I could do. I told many friends in healing what was happening and I received many healings and prayers, and I am so thankful for the love I received. I ended up having an operation to remove the cancer. Two weeks later, I am told that tests showed all the cancer gone. My cancer was found by sheer coincidence, or was it by intend of the universe? It woke me up, I often work with people that have cancer, well I became one of those people and am cognizant of their story and the life changing effect, fears and worries that having cancer brings. I then became the healer that started healing herself. With God and Angels, friends and helpers and acquired skills, I went to work. I felt so honored to be given so much healing and prayers by friends and students. I am truly thankful to you, you have made a difference, and I want you to know this. After a biopsy I had severe bruising, but after your healings and a set of treatments the bruising just melted away.

The operation was a cut of 6 inches to take out the cancer and a cut of 2,5 inches under the arm to remove two lymph nodes . Wound was ghastly, but was healing well without complications.

Dr Rachel Farkas the surgeon seemed pleasantly surprised. She remarked that I healed remarkably well, she noticed I always approached and accepted everything relaxed and smiling despite. Well, we talked about my believe system, Reiki that brings healing, acceptance, trust and much more. Her life seemed to have been touched also, I hope with time she will want to understand more about Reiki.

The tests taken after the operation showed my vitals, blood cells and hormones at close to normal levels, despite of my age which again surprised the doctors.

I had to see another doctor who had planned radiation for me. My cancer was found early, there is nothing spread as the tests showed. Having cancer and undergoing the operation was hard enough on my system. Radiation is a shock to all organs, I will have survived the cancer but my organs can become damaged with radiation and that can kill me, so thank, no thank you. The final doctor I was asked to see wants me to take a pill a day for 5 years. Aroma inhibitors (type of chemo). They are harsh on a person’s bones and cause blood clots to mention a few. I decided not to have any further treatment, my cancer is gone and my body is well, let’s leave it there.

The average person having my cancer has an 8% risk that the cancer may return in five years. When taking radiation or chemo pills it will reduce the risk to 5%. The risk of cancer returning is small, specially keeping an eye on the probable risk. The chances of some or all organs being affected by radiation or chemo are much greater, especially me being in the older age bracket.

Over the next few months I will make life changes, I started a recovery fitness program at the YMCA, this week. They have a special program there to help cancer survivors like me.

MOVING TO MASSACHUSETTS Next Spring/Summer my husband and I are planning to move to Massachusetts to be closer to our grandchildren. The plan is that The Reiki Healing Center will continue here under the guidance of some of my students, who are now Practitioners, Master and Teachers themselves. I will continue a branch of the Center in Massachusetts and visiting back here of course.

We have taught classical Usui Reiki since 2003 to International standards, declaring our linage proudly to assure you that our teaching is to and above recognized standards. Our certificates declare a certain competence of our students and not an attending the class certificate.

I will continue teaching in Pittsford all trough Autumn, Winter and Spring. If you wish to finish your training with me, come forward and I will keep you informed of classes as they become available, or we will make special class arrangements to make it work for you. So get planning, call me if you need advice.
