The Refuge is a private community coupled to the Alpine

Airport runway – a spectacular, one of a kind, user-friendly

airport sitting in the majesty of the Star Valley, the Snake, Salt,

and Greys rivers, on Palisades Lake, with millions of fenceless

acres all around. Lakes, rivers, mountains, wildlife, seasons and

every sporting activity almost imaginable await you outside

your front door. The Alpine Airport comes with no landing

fees, inexpensive gas, an airport concierge with a full FBO under

construction, a 6,000’ runway, wide taxiways and surroundings

that are some of the most majestic on this earth.

Thoughtful landscaping throughout The Refuge includes fish

and swimming ponds, waterfalls, 100’ taxiway clearances, bridge

features and trees galore. An entire tree farm was purchased

to aid in the landscaping design. In the summer months, you

can take advantage of miles of hiking trails and a bike pathway

connecting the Refuge to the city of Alpine and its surrounding

wilderness. In winter months, miles of groomed cross country

and snowmobile trails are out your front door, as are the

ungroomed trails you will make your own.
