Walk through the RedcoatsGarden to the back right whererear garden entrance is. Here youwill see the above gate at the startof the walk. Go through the gate,walk along with the trees on yourleft until they end. Continuestraight cross the field but mindthe crops!

Once at the bottom of the fieldfollow the hedge along to yourright until you come across theabove gate. Walk through andacross the fields to the bottomright corner where you will findthe exit gate.

At the bottom gate turn leftdown the lane past The WyckHouse. Follow this lane throughsome trees, past a row ofcottages on the left and up thehill to Almshore Bury. Walkthrough and round to yourright. A green farm shed will beto your right.

Go through the trees and crossthe road. Be careful this road canbe busy. Look to your right andyou will see The Rusty Gun shed.Walk towards this and round theback of the shed where you willsee some pigs and a trail that is toyour left of the pig pen fencing.

At the end of the green farmshed walk past the small row oftrees and look to your rightwhere you will see someploughs. Follow the row of treeson your right with the ploughson your left until you reach thepost. Walk down the trailtowards the road at the bottom.

At the top of the hill follow thetrail round the edge of thewoodland until you reach a trailcross roads. Turn left here andfollow the trail past some trees onthe right.

With a small fence on your leftfollow the trail down and cross asmall bridge where the trailcrosses Dyers Lane. Go straightahead. Up the hill you will passa pond in the trees on your leftand the hedge should be on yourright going up the hill towards asmall woodland on the left.

Turn right at the road and walkalong a little until you are facingthe entrance of a yard on theother side of the road. Cross theroad, be careful as it can bebusy! Pass through the gate andmake your way to the back of theyard to pick up the trail again.

Walk along Langley Lane passingsome strange shaped trees onyour left and great views to yourright. At the top of the lane youwill come to a junction turn leftwhich will take you past ShilleyGreen Farm on your left.

With Shilley Green Farm onyour left Langley Lane thenturns sharp right. On the turnyou will see a bridleway thatthen turns in to a trail passingthrough some trees. On theright of the trail is a small woodwhich in May/June is covered inBluebells. Follow the trail downto the B656 road.

Follow the road and turn right atthe junction on the corner whichwill lead you back to AlmshoreBury where you will recognise thegreen farm shed you passedearlier in the walk. Walk throughAlmshore Bury and retrace yoursteps back to Redcoats usingpoints 4 to 1.

After the woodland there is a pondon your right and some greatviews across the fields on your left.Keep following the bridleway toConey House where the bridlewaywill turn into a road.

The trail then turns into abridleway through open fieldswhere you will walk towards asmall woodland on the right ofthe bridleway.

Follow the trail all the way up tothe top of the hill where you willfind the picturesque MinsdenChapel Plantation. The trail thengoes round to your left with theplantation on your right. Followthe trail down to the gate on theB651 road.

Once at the gate on the B651cross over the road to the trail onthe other side to your right. Thetrail then winds its way up thehill side with great views to yourright. At the top you will reachLangley End.

In Langley End follow the roadup keeping a flint stone wall onyour right. Follow the wall rounduntil you see a bridleway at theback. Take the bridleway andfollow until you reach a trailleading through some trees.Follow the trail to Langley Lane.Turn left up Langley Lane.
