TEngineered To FollowIn The Footsteps OfGreat Adventurers

Are you tired of a rough, wet ride?

SKEETER’s aerospace computer technology has taken bass boat buildingto a new level. As a result, the shape of our hull is responsible for thedriest and smoothest ride in the industry.

When viewed from the front, the bow has two large, concave sectionscalled CHINES (A) on either side of the center keel. These areas arearranged with STRAKES (B), and together these shapes deflect waterand spray down and to the sides of the hull, keeping the occupants dry, while softening rough water.

REAR STRAKES (B) also provide lift and help the boat maintain aprescribed arc during a turn. The number, size, and placement ofstrakes is critical to the performance of the boat. The angle of thestrake in relation to the bottom of the hull provides the required lift, and acts as a rail, gripping the water during a turn, yet allows the hullto “slide” off of stumps when trolling or idling thru timber.

TURNING CHINES (D) are located on each side, at the rear of thehull, where the bottom meets the side of the boat. The geometry ofthese appendages limits the amount of heel the boat will experienceduring mid- to high-speed turns.

The entire KEEL (C) of our boat has a 20º rake which allows the boatto plane quickly, and keeps the bow down at slow planing speeds. Thecenter pad is the heart of the running surface. The pad’s width, angle, and forward flair are all carefully designed to yield the best com-bination of speed, handling, and load-carrying capability.

Ever Lost A Fish Before Weigh-In?

SKEETER knows the most important concern of a tournament anglerafter he catches a bass is keeping it alive. So naturally, not just anylivewell will do. Our answer? Not one dual pump, 24-gallon livewell(A), but two completely independent systems!

Our livewells are deep, allowing bass to stack above each other as theydo in nature. We make the inside grey (a neutral color that reduceslight sensitivity) which keeps your fish calm, reducing oxygen use. Wealso include a pump out system which allows foreasy removal of your catch.

The optional Oxymax tournamentlivewell system (B), exclusive toSKEETER, uses a tiny electrical chargeto separate the hydrogen and oxygenmolecules adding 100% pure oxygento the water.

Just How Tough Is A SKEETER?

Unlike other marine manufacturers, SKEETER’s “EX-CEL” composites are aerospacederivatives, NOT just common plastic or flotation foams merely encapsulated in fiberglass. Webuild the industry’s toughest hull using a combination of five types of glass (A), each one usedfor a specific load or strength requirement. The resin (B) we use to bond the glass fibers andlayers together is an isothalic DCPD that has high elongation and adds strength and toughnessto the gel coat as well as having a good strong finish. The flake used in our colors is a polyflake(C). It replaces metal flake because it resists migration through the clear gel coat for a longerlasting smooth finish. The gel coat we use is called “Armorcoat” (D). It has a high toughnessfactor and is considered the best in the industry in regard to weathering blistering.

How Strong Is Strong Enough?

Not only does our aluminum deck system add tremendous strength and rigidity tothe upper section of the boat, but it allows the lids to close tightly and locksecurely. Only SKEETER boats have this because of the extremely tightconstruction tolerances required.

How High Are Our Standards?

Coast Guard statistics show that boats certified by the NationalMarine Manufactures Association (NMMA) are five timessafer than other boats. SKEETER’sentire product line has completedNMMA Certification.

KEETER knows there’s more to boating thanjust fishing. That’s why we developed our SL

Fish & Ski series. Are you tired of the front of yourFish & Ski sounding like a bongo drum? SKEETERis the only company to develop an independenthull dedicated for the SL Fish & Ski boats. Thecenter of gravity is moved forward where themajority of the weight occurs, offsetting weightand torque while pulling a family member on skis.In the SKEETER SL Fish & Ski, you can lift the bowout of the water creating a smoother, dryer ride.

SKEETER realizes there is a different set of rulesfor fish & ski boats. We understand yourneeds–like an ergonomically designed cockpitconsole (A) with a low profile windshield thatdeflects the wind upward. Best of all, you don’thave to put cushions under you to see! Forpassengers, versatility carries over to the consoleglovebox that keeps your valuables secure. Our SLFish & Ski boats are the most versatile in themarketplace today, and we prove it by offeringfeatures such as an easy-to-remove trolling motor(B), bow panel trim control and optionaldepthfinder (C), separate rod storage boxes thataccommodate up to a 7' rod (SL210 and SL190),mid-deck dry storage (D), plus a large ski storagecompartment (E). For skiing, the SL comesstandard with a center ski bar (F). The removablerear bench with large storage compartments belowconvert into comfortable fishing chairs (G).

For cruising or good old fashion get-togethers, theSKEETER SL Fish & Ski has an AM/FM CD player(H) and optional sun pads for the rear deck.Whether you’re rocking on the river with friends orripping up the lake on a wakeboard, the SL Fish &Ski will seduce you into the perfect escape.

all you need to know is that no other boat isconstructed to complement your fishing stylelike a SKEETER. The ZX Deepwater series issimply boating excellence. Most notable ofmany highlights is our cockpit with a face-lift(A). Strategically placed switch panels (B) andlighted instrumentation combined with Low-rance Electronics gives you that edge you needwhen fishing the big waters.

Staying one up on the fish requires carefulplanning, and we have done our homework. OurZX Deepwater boats offer spacious fishingdecks fore and aft. The bow storage bays fortackle and foul-weather gear (C) are enormous, and the lighted, organized center rod box (D)makes for quick access to the rig you want. Sidebays provide quick access (E) or lockablestorage (F) for rods, planner boards or yourpersonal items. Fish with ease while enjoyingretractable rod staze, an aerated baitwell (G)and livewell (H), along with the coolers andcup-holders placed for comfort.

With an attention to detail, our engineersdesigned the ultimate tool for enjoying theultimate deepwater experience. We even includedthoughtful trailer features like backup lights (I)and retractable ratchet tie-downs (J). Why did weput so much time into thinking about how youfish? So you can jump in and do the same.
