• Begin by removing any electrical switch or outlet plates, along with any pictures or shelves mounted on the panels to be removed. • Remove the cove or crown at the top and the base trim at the bottom of the panels. Both need to be removed. Begin by finding one end of the trim and with a twisting motion pull the trim out of the lineal (Figure 1). Mark the backside of the trim so you will be able to re-install back into the correct location. • After removing the top and base trim, if you have the Core (fabric covered) system, remove the vertical trim on both sides of the panel (Figure 2). If you have the painted Unlimited system, ,use a utility blade and gently glide the blade in the crevice between the two panels to cut any paint that may be binding the panels together. • Remove the panel by hooking your finger around the back of the panel at the corners as shown (Figure 3) and carefully pulling out. Use caution not to damage the edges or corners of the panel when moving it around. If removing more than one panel, be sure to mark the backside of the panel so you will be able to re-install back into the correct location. • Re-installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Re-install the panels, then the trim components, and electrical covers making sure you are using the correct parts in the correct locations. Snap the trim into the lineal by hand or use a white rubber mallet to tap trim into place. Pub. No. 10021481. Printed in U.S.A. August 2016.
