PPGNY President's Message—September 2014 It's official - Autumn is here! The summer went by so quickly, and PPGNY was busy as a bee. We had an awesome Portraits in the Park, our Monthly meetings, Board Meetings, a great fishing trip, a fun Picnic at North Woodmere Park and a fabu-lous tour of the Intrepid. Of course, every event takes enormous work on the part of our Board. I want to thank them for all their hard work. It's an honor to work with each one of you. Now we are looking forward to our autumn and winter events. We welcome our member's input and would love to hear from you. Wishing you a happy & healthy year ahead.
Sincerely, Gale Blumenthal Master Photographer

…The Ultimate Workflow Tool
Marty Grivjack, Cr. Photog., FSA
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom™ Instructor
Witness the robust power of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 as Florida-based Lightroom Instructor and PPA
Photographic Craftsman Marty Grivjack demonstrates the awesome capabilities of Adobe’s premier de-
signed-for-pros image management and editing software.
In this evening program, Marty will import and color balance images using a simple gray card, use gradi-
ents to fix skies and flash blowout, batch-crop hundreds of images in seconds, and show how you can lo-
cate any image in seconds using keywords. See how easy it is to use collections to organize images and
create multiple versions without duplicating files.
Bring your questions, a note pad and a pen, as you will be shown the critical shortcuts to incredible produc-
tivity in your workflow process. You won’t want to miss this presentation!

siding in Jupiter, Florida, with a summer studio on Lake George in beautiful upstate New York. He is the
