Technology projects requires an effective methodology
and nimble governance structure. Based on the actual
project experience of implementing a multi-site Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) System spanning seven years,
Paul Brandenburg CPIM provides a behind the scenes
look at the operational aspects of the program that drove
organizational transformation across all business functions.
His talk will cover project methodology tools for results
driven implementation and how to successfully navigate
the organizational changes at intersection of project
execution with business functions. Following his retirement
from Eli Lilly & Company after a 28 year career in 2010,
Paul joined Brillig Systems in the role of Manufacturing IT
Consultant.

a neighbor to get theirs. In today’s environment of “work more with less”; anyone that has special skills and
certifications will stand out. Do you have a friend or colleague that may be losing their job or already lost it? Get
them involved in APICS Certifications and our local Chapter’s Professional Development Meetings (PDM). Our
PDM’s are great places to learn about what’s going on in other industries and/or organizations, network and meet
other professionals. Our local APICS chapter has partnerships with the local PMI and Quality organizations and has
joint PDM’s throughout the year. The APICS New Excellence in Supply Chain management is a needed and cutting
edge source for you or your friends work skills. Help by getting them involved in APICS.

Operations and supply chain management professionals are expected to achieve maximum productivity, meet consumer demand, and remain agile amid instability and unpredictability. As a knowledgeable industry leader, you are invited to share your expertise and tools to address these challenges and more by submitting a presentation for the 2011 APICS Call for Presentations.
Share your experience by submitting a proposal to present at the 2011 APICS International Conference & Expo in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
The theme for this year's conference is Achieving Sustainable Productivity: Meeting Customer Demand in an Unpredictable World . At APICS 2010, speakers explored how to navigate the significant, permanent changes that have occurred in their organizations, in the profession, and in the economy as a result of the global recession. In 2011, APICS is building on that theme and looking at the challenges companies face in the post-recession environment. APICS seeks speakers who can not only cover the topics in the APICS Body of Knowledge, but also those that are able to provide participants with strategies and tactics to meet and overcome current challenges, such as
• volatile customer demand and complex demand patterns• rising customer service expectations• continuing pressure to reduce operations and logistics costs• complexity of supplier networks• risks related to fluctuations in commodity prices, geopolitical instability, and natural disasters • global competition• staying informed and in compliance with various governments' regulations• environmental concerns.
