At the dawn of a new century, everything is changing...and anything is possible.

RAGTIME returns in an all-new touring production, produced by the team that brought you The Addams Family, Spamalot,

Rock of Ages and The Color Purple.

The stories of an upper-class wife, a determined Jewish immigrant and a daring young Harlem musician unfold, set in turn-of-the-century New York. All three are united by their

desire and belief in a brighter tomorrow.

This Tony-winning musical is a timeless celebration of life - what it could and should be.

A scheming producer and his mousy accountant aim to produce the biggest flop on Broadway in Mel Brooks’

laugh-out-loud spectacle.

Bialystock and Bloom! Those names should strike terror and hysteria in anyone familiar with Mel Brooks’ classic cult comedy

film. THE PRODUCERS once again sets the standard for modern, outrageous, in-your-face humor. It is a truly “boffo” hit, winning

a record twelve Tony Awards and wowing capacity crowds night after night.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!On July 3, 1925, Saenger-Ehrlich Enterprises opened

The Strand Theatre in Shreveport. It was a grand palace, with a massive main chandelier 8 feet in diameter. On the walls, set

into the ceilings 65 feet high were ornate plaster figures filigrees gleaming with gold, colorfully-painted panels, huge columns and

hand-painted murals of Greek muses.

Thanks to a loving restoration of much of the theatre in the 1980s, the Strand still stands today, as much of a jewel of

downtown as it was in 1925. Happy 90th birthday to this grand old lady of Shreveport!
