15 minutes with a counselor, a couple of computerized interest inventories, and a paper on what you want to be when you grow up just won’t do it in today’s world.

What Can We Do?

Set course standards for a freshman transition class

which should include: personal/social development and

skill building, educational achievement plans, career and

life skills and planning. The benefits of this program will

reduce dropout rates, increase maturity in post-secondary

programs, increase number in Tech Prep programs and

provide skills to navigate through life and work.
