Cap Maison wine list principles
Interesting Natural and biodynamic wines that are made in small quantities by families and small
wineries, that share our passion for putting smiles on people’s faces.
Wines that you generally will not find in your local wine merchant, supermarket or restaurant and that
are all delicious.
Wines at the top end that we have decided to put on a small cash margin priced very sensibly, in some
cases up to 50% less than you might find on a list elsewhere.
In addition, we hope to welcome you soon for a fun, learning and inspiring wine tasting session at
Cellar Maison…

Have you ever wondered why in old master paintings the white wines in people’s glasses do not look
as translucent as the whites of today, and why they look more orange than anything else does? This is
not a trick of the light or the patina of age, but perhaps because the Michelangelo’s of this world
actually drank orange wines. – quoted from Natural Wine, Isabelle Legeron MW
North-East Italy
515 Ribolla Gialla, Radikon, Venezia Giulia 2007 95 250
This unique “back to its roots” orange wine was macerated and fermented with its grape skins and
pips where more flavors were extracted, mainly tannins but also a distinctive bright yellow colour, or
even shades of rust is the result.
We recommend enjoying some of these rather special wines, paired with food. Our Chefs Table
Menu would be great way exploring this intriguing world on natural wines.

Sometimes I drink when I’m alone
When I have company, I consider it obligatory.
I trifle with it if I’m not in a hurry and I drink it when I am, otherwise
I never touch the stuff unless I am thirsty” – Madame Lily Bollinger
