THE PRESENT SIMPLE
Present tense is further divided into four parts
Simple
Present SimpleTense
We use simple present tense to talk about things in general.
Ex: Nurses look after the patients in hospitals. Children like ice-cream
We use it to say that something happens repeatedly or for habitual actions or daily activities
I usually go to the market at weekends. Paul wakes up at 5 in the morning.
We use it to say that something is true in general.
The earth goes round the sun.

We use sub+do/does+not+base form of verb for negative sentences

Some more use of Present simpleWe use present simple with ADVERBS OF FREQUENCY when we say how often we do things
For ex: In the summer John USUALLY plays tennis.
