The Staggering QuestionHe said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? Ezekiel 37:3

Can a sinner be turned into a saint? Can a twisted life be made right? There is only on

appropriate answer O Lord God, You know (Ezekiel 37:3). Never forge ahead wit

your religious common sense and say, Oh, yes, with just a little more Bible reading

devotional time, and prayer, I see how it can be done.

It is much easier to do something than to trust in God; we see the activity and mistak

panic for inspiration. That is why we see so few fellow workers with God, yet so man

people workingforGod. We would much rather work for God than believe in Him. Do

really believe that God will do in me what I cannot do? The degree of hopelessness I hav

for others comes from never realizing that God has done anything for me. Is my ow

personal experience such a wonderful realization of Gods power and might that I can neve

have a sense of hopelessness for anyone else I see? Has any spiritual work bee

accomplished in me at all? The degree of panic activity in my life is equal to the degree o

my lack of personal spiritual experience.

Behold, O My people, I will open your graves . . . (Ezekiel 37:12). When God wants t

show you what human nature is like separated from Himself, He shows it to you in yoursel

If the Spirit of God has ever given you a vision of what you are apart from the grace of Go

(and He will only do this when His Spirit is at work in you), then you know that in realit

there is no criminal half as bad as you yourself could be without His grace. My grave ha

been opened by God and I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwell

(Romans 7:18). Gods Spirit continually reveals to His children what human nature is lik

Mens Fellowship Breakfast

The Women of Praise will be hosting a breakfast for the men onSaturday, June 25

th. All proceeds will benefit the Womens ministry.

Baby ShowerOn Sunday, June 12

th, at 03:00 PM the Women of Praise will be hosting

a baby shower for Sister Bibi. She is expecting a baby girl and is

registered at Target, Walmart, and JCPenney. You can find registriesunder the name Bibi Dudhnath.

Empowered Men / Women of Praise

Throughout the summer (June-August) the men & womens groups willnot be having monthly meetings. Please check the church calendar for

other monthly events each group is hosting.

Farwell, Friends!Brother Eric & Sister Tiffany

Lewis, along with their son,Elisha, are moving to Virginia.

Rev. Lewis will be pursuingfurther education at Liberty

University. The Lewis family will be greatly missed by all. Our

thoughts and prayers are withthem as they follow the Lords

path for their lives.

Youth Band Practices The

Kingdom RAZErs will be havingband practices on WednesdayNights from 08:00-09:00 PM,

following the youth Bible Study.

Special ThanksThank you to everyone who

helped with the Memorial Day barbecue setting up, preparing

dishes, grilling, cleaning manyhands surely made light work.

Also, thank you in advance forthose who volunteered to help

with the PTCA awards banquet.We appreciate having a church

full of people with servants

hearts.

Family Fun Day RainbowRiver Tubing On Saturday,

June 18th

we will be taking agroup tubing. We need plenty of

adult chaperones on this trip. Ifyour child is attending, a parent

or other responsible adultMUST attend as well. You may

bring a tube of your own or rentone there. The trip is 3 hours ifyou are bringing a lunch, it must

be in a non-disposable container(such as a cooler or

Tupperware).

The water is crystal clear so youmay want to bring goggles and a

snorkel, too. Please seeBrother Jonathan or Sister

Megan if you will be attending.


Pastor Freeman brought forth amighty word from the Lord on

Memorial Da Weekend.
